The FotodioX WonderPana FreeArc XL Kit for Canon 11-24mm Lensis a two-piece assembly designed to be used in combination with a FotodioX WonderPana FreeArc XL Core Unit or a WonderPana XL Aluminum Step-Up Ring. Attaching the WonderPana 8.0" Holder Bracket to a WonderPana FreeArc XL Core Unit or a WonderPana XL Aluminum Step-Up Ring can allow for the convenient use of two 2.0mm-thick filters measuring 7.9" wide, or one 2.0mm-thick filter measuring 7.9" wide along with one FotodioX 186mm round filter behind it.

Use of this holder bracket is easily accomplished by separately attaching its two assembly pieces to opposite sides of a WonderPana FreeArc XL Core Unit or a WonderPana XL Aluminum Step-Up Ring using six of the eight included brass short-screws. Pre-tapped threaded inserts along the edge of a WonderPana XL Aluminum Step-Up Ring accommodate those screws and ensure correct positioning of the two assembly pieces so that they are positioned parallel to each other and can hold a 7.9"-wide filter between them. The combined WonderPana XL Aluminum Step-Up Ring, and WonderPana 8.0" Holder Bracket can then be attached to a compatible lens.

For WonderPana FreeArc XL Core Units that consist of a rear lens collar and a front filter holder, pre-tapped threaded inserts along the edge of the front filter holder accommodate six of the eight brass short-screws for correct positioning of the WonderPana 8.0" Holder Bracket's two assembly pieces. I figure it'd be able to be used at 11mm on the 5DII but could I still get a usable 18mm from this on a 7D II without issue?

A: It is called vignetting and you have it backwards. Vignetting for an EF lens is worse on a full frame camera with the same lens at the same aperture. This has fairly high vignetting on a full frame camera, but considering the focal length, not that bad. On a 7DII it would not be a issue. As you calculate, it becomes an 18-39 equiv on a crop sensor. It would be phenomenal quality in that range. But there are a lot better values out there than this lens in that focal range. Consider the 10-22 or 10-18 EF-S lens, unless the highest optical quality is your goal. To me, the whole point of this lens is to get the 126 degree perspective and you need a FF camera to get it. You would need a 7mm lens on a 7DII to get it and that doesn't exist (except for fish eyes).
