Featuring eight handheld microphones, the VocoPro Acapella-8 Wireless System with Micswireless system from VocoPro Acapella-8 Wireless System with Micscombines the convenience of simple set up & easy operation with the signal quality of 24-bit digital technology. It operates free from TV signal interference in the 900 MHz band with a transmission range of up to 200', and is well suited for groups of singers or speakers on stage, in houses of worship or event halls.

The system includes two four-channel receivers with discrete balanced XLR outputs for each microphone and a 1/4" mixed output. Individual microphone channels feature a dedicated volume control, an RF LED that lets you know when the mic is on, and an AF LED which flashes when audio is received. The handheld microphones are equipped with an on/off button & an LED battery indicator, and are powered with two AA batteries.

The Acapella-8 comes with two 4-channel XLR snake cables to individually connect each microphone signal to a mixing board and two 1/4" unbalanced cables to patch in the microphones quickly using the two mixed outputs. To complete the package, a rackmount kit is also included for mounting the units in a road case or in a stationary rack.

A: In theory, handheld transmitters from the same product line, on the same frequency, could be added to the VocoPro Digital-Play-16 Sixteen-Channel Digital Wireless System with Headsets & Lavalier Mics to replace some of the beltpack transmitters. It does not appear that the handhelds are available separately on their own at this time, however.

A: No, Shure wireless components are not directly compatible for use with the VocoPro Acapella-8 Eight-Channel Digital Wireless System with Handheld Microphones. Independent Shure wireless systems could possibly be used alongside this system, however.

A: I bought the Behringer XR18. You use your ipad or tablet with it. That's what the salesperson at Sound Ideas in Columbus, Ohio recommended. Hope this helps.

Q: 8. Can you use all 16 channels at the same time on stage with no interference between the mics?

A: Yes, you can use all 16 channels together. There is one receiving channel for every transmitter to be on their own separate channel simultaneously.

Q: 9. If i buy 2 sets of these to run on a 32 channel mixer for a school play.. Can all 32 run on all different channels?

A: If you use two of these VocoPro Digital-Play-16 systems, for a total of 32 wireless mics, in the same location, they will interfere with one another. For a school play, I would highly recommend using wireless for no more than 8 or 12 lead actors, and micing up the rest of the cast using hanging choir mics or boundary mics placed strategically on the stage. A combination of wired and wireless mics will allow for reliable operation and good quality sound, while keeping the total cost of the system more manageable.

Q: 10. Can all 16 microphones be used at the same time? Can you change the frequency for each mic, if needed to stay away from other wireless (handheld) mics we already use for music during worship? Can I return the system if it has interference problems at our church? We have tried several other brands with interference problems in the past.
