The Wimberley P30 Quick Release Plate for Camerasquick release plate for lenses is made of silky-smooth andonized aluminum, with anti-twist flanges to trace the edges of the lens' tripod collar. It fits all the Wimberley P30 Quick Release Plate for Camerasquick release adapters, which are made by many different companies such as Acratech, Arca-Swiss, Foba, Graf/Studioball, Gitzo, Novoflex, NPC and (of course) Wimberley.

The safety stops at the front & back of the Wimberley P30 plate prohibit your lens from accidentally slipping out of the quick release adapter(easily removed with supplied hex wrench if desired).

The Wimberley double-dovetail design allows attachment of their Shape Shifter flash bracket system to the upper or lower surface of the P30 plate.

Drilled holes accept flash arms from Kirk & Really Right Stuff

[0.25 lb] I didn't even know a plate like this existed until I accidentally found it. I was thankful because my recent non-Wimberley gimbal head purchase came with a plate that nearly dropped my camera three times. My camera kept twisting off the plate because it didn't have anything to prevent it from doing that, and it was double the length of my lens foot. [Arca-Type] I purchased the Wimberley Sidekick initially by itself, hoping that I could get by without purchasing the P30 Quick Release Plate. I was hoping, but I was wrong. After realizing this, I ordered the Wimberley P30 Quick Release Plate and never looked back. I found that this is a necessary item to make the system work. 5
