A: I purchased the Power Tank and the 6SE from B&H and I have the correct cable. Although it does not say on B&H site that the cable is included it does say it is on the Celestron site- Cigarette lighter adapter included . I also found a review on the B&H site that says it is included called interestingly Beware of Missing Parts . Another part I guess. I have really liked the Powertank, almost two years of use so far.

A: I already answered that it's about 16 lb. What is shown as the BEST ANSWER is 6-7 lb. This is not correct, it's about 16 lb. as I said. It's heavy for its size, as it is essentially a car battery with other features. Also, the image shown is not quite correct. it shows three female connectors together near the top left. Those used to be 3, 6, and 9 volt outputs on an older version. They have been replaced by two USB connectors. The description is correct, but not the image.

A: We had to do some rewiring. It came with an LED strip and the voltage was too high for the strip. Had to get a regular light bulb. It wasn't too difficult and looks great, but wasn't plug and play.

A: THIS RECHARGEABLE POWER TANK IS POWERED BY A SEALED LEAD-ACID BATTERY, ONE PC (12V 7AH/20 HR). It cannot be replaced by the consumer.

Has 2 DC power outlets, a powerful LED spotlight, built-in flashlight with red lens cover, carrying handle and shoulder strap, and can even be used to assist start a vehicle (but not when battery is completely dead). 5

[0.145 lb] This is a must have for computerized telescopes. Without this running my 6SE would have been very costly, as it requires 8 AA batteries. They have to be alkaline (@ 1.5v each), rechargeable batteries (@ 1.2v each) are not powerful enough (total 12v required for 6SE). I use AA even when I am using this power tank. If for any reason the power tank gets disconnected I do not lose any of my settings or sky-alignment. The scope only uses batteries when power tank is not connected.I did find the charging lights on this to be very misleading. Fully charged light comes on within two hours of charging, whereas charging can take up to 15 hours. However, I let it charge for 15 hours despite the misleading lights and in operation there have been no issues. I get many hours of viewing on a single charge. 5

[0.145 lb] I use the power tank as the power supply for my Meade 10 telescope. It is especially useful when I have a large crowd looking through the scope because I can position it under the tripod. When I run a power line from my car there is always the danger of someone tripping over it. The large light is useful at the end of the observing session when I generally scan the ground looking for stuff that I may have left behind. The Power Tank is a handsome, solid, and well thought out product. 5

[0.145 lb] This device operates on less than 1 milliamps, much lower than the specifications. I used two of them already and they both are that sensitive. Input and output are isolated so it can be used for many applications 5

[0.145 lb] For the select group of people who need to convert 24vac to 12vdc this is the perfect solution. I mistakenly purchased a 12vdc security camera for a location that was exclusive run from a 24vdc power supply and was overjoyed to find this product and even more overjoyed that it worked as represented. Now let's see how long it lasts. 5
