Q: 1. Where can you get the power supply?

A: This version is designed for permanent install utilizing a hard wire connection to the included 12v driver. You can mount/connect it to a single gang electrical box.

A: You'll need a voltage converter to use this product on 220V since this light uses 110V.

Q: 3. Is this item supposed to blink? It seems to be short circuiting when the switch is on. Wired it directly to a light switch/outlet.

A: They are not designed to blink unless the additional flasher is used (not included). We recommend having a professional electrician install these units.

Q: 4. Is this light fixture UL certified?

A: The Sandies 340 RECORDING Light with LEDs (110 VAC to 12 VDC LED Driver), B&H # SAMWL2, is not a UL-listed device.

Q: 5. How do you turn Sandies 343 Three-Sided ON AIR Light with LEDs on and off?

A: It is meant to be installed permanently by an electrician. They will run a line to a wall switch or the Technical Director's control panel to turn the light on or off.

Q: 6. How does this connect to the wall?

A: This unit can be connected to the wall on a standard, single gang box or with wall anchors.

Q: 7. What kind of power adapter is required for this item?

A: A 110VAC to 12VDC LED Driver Converter is included and is ready for installation in your studio.

Q: 8. Is this unit mobile? Meaning, can I plug in into the wall and move around?

A: The unit is designed to be wall mounted, but is not necessary. The unit can be moved.

Q: 9. Is there any way you can install a remote / wireless switch for this device? If so, do you have any recommendations?

A: Good question. I believe there a few different ways to accomplish this install to be compatible with a wireless remote switch. You would have to do some research on that however. One way I know of is using a pico wireless remote and a Lutron PowPak RMJ-5R-DV-B. They are compatible together. The pico can be used as a portable remote device or it can be installed using a wall adapter. The powpak could be mounted right o. The side of a junction box or it could probably fit inside of the recording light fixture. There's plenty of room inside. I believe there's a 30' range on these devices. That's just one quick way of doing it for about $150-$200.

Q: 10. The bulb I need is 125v 7 watt. Its very small. There are 2 lights inside the on-air box. Can you help me?

[Yes] Arrived quickly, just in time to install over our home voice over booth. Looks great! Don't throw the light diffuser sheet away. We almost did and thought we would only see the red lights, making the word unreadable. The sheet between the lights and recording is very important! 5

[2.8"] For the select group of people who need to convert 24vac to 12vdc this is the perfect solution. I mistakenly purchased a 12vdc security camera for a location that was exclusive run from a 24vdc power supply and was overjoyed to find this product and even more overjoyed that it worked as represented. Now let's see how long it lasts. 5

[1.8"] I mounted this unit outside wall of the room I use to play guitar. My would come in while I was recording. She said one day, just stick a note on the door so that I know you are recording. So I Googled recording lights and found this light. Looks great, when it's on it is very readable. And when its off, you cannot see the word recording. 5
