The twenty-seven multi-velocity and round robin drum kit instruments (multiple samples per note/hit) include two kick drums, two snare drums, six toms, five cymbals, and an assortment of hi-hats. Each of these instruments has been sampled with multiple microphones in an extremely "live" sounding stone room, providing the ability to adjust the mixture of ambience to include both room-miked and close-miked samples.

The drums are mapped using an extended General MIDI mapping, so the library can be easily mixed and matched with other kits. It can function standalone, or as a plug-in instrument when loaded into the company's free SampleTank Custom Shop, or as a loaded instrument in SampleTank 3 or SE workstations.

A: I have not tested the maximum weight the super clamp can support but it definitely will hold a strobe head with a softbox in place firmly. It will easily hold in place a backdrop bar with heavy weight muslin on it. That's as much weight as I have put on one. Hope this helps.

Q: 2. Does this come with a wedge?

A: Yes. It has a rubber type wedge that fits into the jaws (and is removable) allowing you to better clamp on flat surfaces like the edge of a table or door for example. The wedge is then removed for clamping in round objects like pipes.

Q: 4. Cd or download code

A: I see this question is old, but only one of the answers is correct, so I wanted to set this straight. I just purchased this upgrade version (March of 2021). If there were disks in 2015 that's NOT how it comes now. It is a download code only. It also does not come in a box as is pictured at the top of this page. It's just a sleeve with the code inside. Dominic's answer is only partially correct. The upgrade download is the WHOLE app (60gb NOT 20) regardless of whether or not Onmisphere 1 is currently installed on the computer in question. (You DO have to already have version-1 REGISTERED with Spectrasonics.) All of this information is detailed on the Spectrasonics web site if you want to verify my answer. Yes, be prepared, it's a lengthy process. I started the download just before going to bed & the downloader app estimated 4+ hours. It was done when I got up so I don't know if that was accurate or not. Also, that's just the "download" part. "Installing" takes another chunk of time. Anyway, I hope this clears up any confusion. A: No, this would JUST work work macOS, Windows OS. You would need to have one of those operating systems in order for it to work.

I'm looking to purchase local and then ship overseas on an airplane as a check-in; however the max weight airline companies accept is 70lbs. So would it be possible to repackage it in a safe way in which it won't weigh over 70lbs? Like taking the pedals out of the package and putting them in a separate bag?

Q: 8. Is this the correct stud to attach a standard tripod head (such as the 494RC2)? If not what stud should I order please?

A: The stud included with this Super Clamp would not have the correct screw thread to fit a 494 RC2. What is best to use is the Manfrotto 208HEX Head Mounting Plate with Hex Stud - 3/8 Thread B&H # MA208HEX which connects into the hex slot on the Super Clamp and has a tripod base plate on top with a 3/8 thread for attaching a head like the 494RC2. A: According to Roland, when it comes to connecting non-Roland pads and triggers to the Roland TD-50X Prismatic V-Drums Sound Module, results can vary and chances are you will have to play around with the sensitivity and threshold settings of each pad or trigger in the module to get it to play smoothly, without crosstalk or mis-triggering. The latest TD-50X module now includes digital trigger ports which are compatible with the Roland digital pads only.
