A: Surprisingly the foam is very dense and provides a secure fit. I had like 20 grand worth of glass shoved into it and sent it with the baggage monkeys on a United flight to the west coast. A: I ordered this version this year (2017) and yes, it comes with the long pieces you cut to your specs with the included cutting tool. The border area is pre-made to fit the case it goes with. Also included are the small red flags and black U holders for the dividers.
