This 4-pack of 1" x 55 yd roll of black Gaffer Tape from Savage is a staple of any movie set or studio, and although called an expendable, it's an absolute essential. The tape has a cloth backing and polyethylene coating that's heat-resistant to 175° Fahrenheit for up to three hours. The combination of blended resin and natural rubber compound allows for strong adherence with no residue upon removal. Among its many uses are safely taping down cable on the floor, securing seamless paper rolls, and creating foam core constructions or any kind of temporary mounting in graphic arts.

A: Yes, any ink based product will easily mark on it.

A: This is probably more of a digi-green, because it's quite saturated and bright. Which makes it a good color for keying, but if you need it to match green rags you've bought, you should not assume it will be the same color, and should test. If you had a greenscreen this color, it would be good for most greenscreen situations.

A: Im not actually sure how thick this is. I would say 2 or 3 pieces of duck tape thick.

A: Yes.

Q: 9. can i use this tape on carpet?

A: Yes.The best part of it is that you can use it...maybe a little longer piece than you expect for more holding power....but it doesn't leave sticky residue on the carpet that would only collect dirt and would be difficult to remove.

Q: 10. Is this the 6mil or 11mil tape?

A: If you are referring to the tape's thickness, the thickness of the ProTapes Pro Gaffer Tape (2 x 12 yd, Black), B&H # PRGT12B, is 9 mil / 0.229 mm.

[13 x 9 x 6"] Good tape, holds strong, water resistant. Used the take in the rain on my body still holding strong. Leaves a bit of the residue behind when pulled to the side easy removable. Still a good gaffer tape. 5

[13 x 9 x 6"] I've tried and use all kinds of gaffer's tape. This is by far the best of the bunch. It has a high tack yet is easy to remove. It never leaves residue. It also is reusable when you need to relocate the tape and it retains its tack. It is more expensive than some other brands but after frustration in using other brands that lose tack or are hard to remove, I just keep coming back to this brand. I wish they made the tape in a greater variety of widths and/or colors. 5

[13 x 9 x 6"] I shoot street moto. This tape works equally well on camera kit or busted bike plastics. More than once, a roll of gaffers tape has kept me shooting, and a rider riding. 5

[13 x 9 x 6"] I use this on anything in which I want a secure tape and the ability to remove without residue. An example is my Epson printer. The front load paper slot broke. This triggered an error message on the printer such that I could not utilize the printer. This is a printer that costs over $1,000. I utilized this tape to close the feeder securely which got rid of the error message. I am hopeful that I will still be able to utilize my printer for a number of years before having to replace it. I figure the total cost to fix was about 10 cents. 5

[13 x 9 x 6"] Photography quick fixer, It holds things out of your way. Holds Items up. I Ripped a 45 Umbrella YEP ! used it to fix the rip and finish the shoot.
