A: Hi,Depending on when you purchased this speedring the 2 receiving holes for the Spartan deflector dish may not be present. Q: 2. Can this speed ring be used with the Ezybox I, the original Ezybox?

A: This ring is compatible with the original Lastolite Ezybox.

Q: 3. Will the RFI Profoto speeding RING work with the PROFOTO 2' OCTA?

A: I bought the Profoto 2' Octa to use with the B1. You'll need the newer Profoto OCF Speedring to use with any OCF product

Q: 4. Is there a trick to breaking this thing down? I feel I procrastinate trying to pull the rods out of this as it takes super human strength and finger muscles like Arnold's biceps. I've searched for videos but nothing yet. I'd love it if someone had an easy way here.

A: You need to pull the rod straight out. If you have it under tension against the front edge of the ring it will be very difficult to remove.

Q: 5. Would this speedring fit the 4' RFi Octobox? A: Yes, the Profoto RFi Speedring for Profoto Flash Heads is fully compatible with all Profoto RFi softboxes, both standard 4-sided square/rectangular options, as well as the 8-sided octaboxes, including the Profoto 4' RFi Octobox.

Q: 6. Will RFI softboxes fit on this speedring ?

Q: 7. WIl this work with the Photogenic Strip Box B&H # PH1236SSBMR?

A: Not 100% sure, but I believe it will work as long as you have a bowens mount.

Q: 8. Will this work with Chimera soft boxes?

A: Yes this should work with Chimera boxes.

Q: 9. I suspect that's not the correct photo. Isn't it missing the adapter holder?

[Strip] One reason I really like my Aputure 120d fresnel with the bowens mount is that I get use my old photography softboxes with these inexpensive speedrings. They do the job and pack in my flight cases easily. 5

[Bowens S Mount] I've been looking for a good ring for my combination of Westcott 3ft by 4ft softbound and my Phottix Indra360. This was recommended by a B&H staffer and this works great. I bought others in the past that didn't work but this did. Thanks, B&H. 5

[Aluminum] Along with its heavy-duty build-quality and easy-locking Bowens collar, this ring excels by having 16 mount points - enough to support just about any kind of light modifier. I especially like Phottix's use of clearly raised markings at all the mount points, making it a breeze to properly align the rods for softboxes. For protection and storage, they even come in their own zippered pouch! At such a thrifty price, I can highly recommend these Phottix speedrings. 5
