Convert HDMI signals to SDI for use in professional A/V or broadcast setups with the DIGITAL FORECAST Bridge M_HH Mini HDMI to SDI Converter. The HDMI input supports 1080p signals up to 60fps. Analog audio input via the 3.5mm stereo jack can be embedded in the outgoing video signal if no audio is present over the HDMI signal. For RCA sources, a stereo adapter is included. Output over SDI can be scaled and scan-converted as necessary to fit the application. The HDMI output can also be scaled for use as a secondary output. For equipment installations, 10 units can be mounted in a standard equipment rack using the separately available Bridge M_PLUS.

Q: 3. Does the test signal generator supply embedded audio options as well? 1k tone, pink noise, etc..?

A: 1k tone across all 8 channels. I do wish it had the option for a vocal channel ID across all channels....

Q: 4. Is available in 80km

A: This unit is rated for 6 miles / 9.6 km. Since 80km is almost 50 miles, this is not your answer.

Q: 5. Does it convert HD frame rate from 60i(ntsc) to 50i (pal) ? Does it have signal disminucin in the process?

A: Yes, the DIGITAL FORECAST Bridge X_TS V3 Troubleshooter Expanded Hard Case Bundle can convert 60i to 50i.

Q: 6. does this unit output 3G SDI Level A or B?

A: it's SDI level A

Q: 7. Can you monitor individual audio channels through the headphone jack, or just 1/2?

A: Manufacturer only specifies level monitoring for multiple channels. Audio monitoring may not be available beyond channels 1/2 from the earphone output.

Q: 8. does this output 3G Level A or Level B?

A: the SDI is Level A

Q: 9. Does this unit pass metadata (timecode, record flag) to the output SDI stream?

A: We're afraid not. Metadata is not supported with this product.

Q: 10. Is there a reset for this unit?

A: Nope.

[12 VDC] I found out this converter very useful, it support not only Cross/Up/Down converter, but also Analog to Digital converter since they have a video composite input. However, there is no Composite output, which means there is no Digital to Analog converting. I saw the other review that someone think it's also support D to A, but not at all. 5

[3.3 oz / 95 g] We use BlackMagic Pocket Cine 4k cameras and needed a way to send video over a 15-50 sdi cable to a BlackMagic Multiview 4k for a directors monitor.... BMD-PCC4k only has HDMI out. These are small enough that we usually just velcro them to a tripod leg with a small lanyard as a safety cable. Currently power them with a GoalZero Yeti150 but I think a good 12volt v-mount battery would work for a while. 5

[3.3 oz / 95 g] Great unit. Probably thirty hours on unit. Ran 100 feet of cable outside, into a coupler, and then another 100 feet of cable inside to end point BMD 6G-SDI to HDMI 4K unit. It was raining that day and in the 40s outside. I could not see any degradation in the audio or video. Never lost signal even for a second. I was sending hdmi video and analog audio over 3G-SDI cable. Number 1 & 8 are up. Numbers 2-7 are down. This was my first experience with SDI & BMD equipment. Note; For this unit, ON is down, Off is up. 5
