[22.45 lb] Nice heavy duty cart but rather heavy. Prior to this I always use Remin 600 cart to carry tool cases around NYC. You can feel every little bump and crack on the sidewalk. This Krane feels twice the weight of the Remin. Took a feel days to get used to bringing it in and out of my SUV.

It has much bigger wheels that absorb a lot of bumps and is a pleasure to push around. Assembly is fairly intuitive. To make folding/unfolding easier in the long term, apply automotive grease (red) in all the joints during assembly.

here is no problem using it as a hand cart. Can handle a heavy load and is very maneuverable. If you use it as a push cart, need more effort/care pushing then pulling since the front bigger wheels are fixed. It tends to wander a bit while being pushed. Pulling there is no issue. But that's a problem with all this style cart. I do wish the longer handle is a bit taller. I am 5'7 and need to bend over to push. But for portability, I can see why it can't be much higher.


No regret getting this cart.

[50 x 12 x 10"] Purchased this to replace a dying cart bought at costco years ago. You can easily fit 10 C-Stands, 2 Baby Rollers, 2 Combo Rollers and tons of shot bags while still being able to get it in an elevator. The pneumatic tires are worth their weight in gold on shoddy sidewalks and surfaces.

[50 x 12 x 10"] We bought it as a gift for a friend who will be moving soon and who does quite a lot of food distribution to shut-ins. She said it is the perfect size, weight, and construction to simplify the tasks that she needs to do!!

[50 x 12 x 10"] Most rigid hand trucks take too much room in even a truck or SUV, especialy given that its usually only needed when carrying gear that's already consuming available space. And most portable models have handles too low for my back or are flimsy. I do have theRemin Tri-Kart 800 Cart which is a nice compliment for carrying a bunch of smaller items best served with bungee cords. But this cart is my go to for my larger gear (wedding photographer). The large rigid base flips up and down and is not fussy - so i can pickup and roll quickly - without tying anything down. The folding handle locks into place using zero effort with complete confidence. Made in the USA!

[50 x 12 x 10"] This luggage cart is extremely well constructed, sturdy and makes heavy awkward objects as light as a feather.

[50 x 12 x 10"] The Krane AMG500 is a very well-designed cart and the manufacturer claims that it's strong enough to handle 500 pounds. I haven't tested the weight limit but it seems very durable. The tubular steel is lightweight but very tough. I bought the Puzzle Deck add-on so I could easily load it up with camera bags and lighting gear. The add-on deck is necessary and I'm thinking of getting the Fork Deck also. This cart glides effortlessly on smooth or paved surfaces. But I have also used it on gravel paths and grassy areas and the smaller wheels in the front aren't really designed for that. It still rolls perfectly fine -just takes more muscle to pull it. I kind of wish Krane made a model with four large, all-terrain wheels since I shoot outside a lot. The best feature of this cart is the ability to easily configure it into several useful positions, depending on your needs. I would definitely suggest getting the Puzzle Deck along with it. I think Krane should have included the Deck, considering the price. It's just a rigid board with carpeting on it. I'm also thinking about getting one of the cargo bags too. The cart comes mostly assembled and all you have to do is attach the axle and wheels. Assembly is simple and takes five minutes. I highly recommend the AMG500. Krane makes a solid product and I'm looking forward to seeing what they come up with for future product designs.

[Rubber] I just purchased the AMG 500 from B&H and I am delighted with the product.

Here are a few comments, however, which may be helpful:

The assembly URL:�kranecarts.com/amg500/assembly�does not work. I could not open this from any of the browsers that I use.

The two frame parts that must be aligned for the axle to be inserted were very difficult to put together. I needed to coax them to align with a wooden block and hammer.

The central frame component is filled with cardboard packing which is not easy to remove. I forced these cardboard bits out when I inserted the axle. The assembly �instructions should note this.
Intuitively I would have thought that the deck adjustment mechanism �would have locked the frame when it is in the 2 wheel hand truck position but close examination of your promotional video reveals that the velcro strap does this. I’m curious as to why the adjustment mechanism doesn’t do this? The product instructions should be clearer on this.

These are not complaints - just comments - as I'm quite taken with this product and have now used it several times and it performs excellently.
