The ProMediaGear Cold Hot Shoe Mountable NATO Rail 3.5"is a handy adapter that enables mounting 1/4"-20 and NATO rail accessories onto your camera's hot/cold shoe mount. A: The SmallRig Low-Profile NATO Rail (2") could mount to either of the FX30's side 1/4"-20 threads, but it needs two threads to provided a sold mounting point, so it would not work well mounting diretly to either side of the camera. If you happen to have a cage on your FX30, then the SmallRig Low-Profile NATO Rail (2") would likely work better as it would have more threads to mount to.

A: Unfortunately, Smallrig does not provide this info. The SmallRig Low-Profile NATO Rail is 90mm long and the screws look like they can be positioned over most of the mount length. We did check and it should be about 57.5mm of space where you can position the screws.

A: The rail is 4.1 inches long (or 105mm). Width is not defined by the manufacturer and we have no way to physically verify this information as this is a special order item, which ships directly from the manufacturer.

The FA-10 has a standard ISO cold shoe on top of it.
