EastWest ProDrummer 1 Virtual Instrumentfrom EastWest ProDrummer 1 Virtual Instrumentis a virtual drum instrument with sounds produced by Joe Chiccarelli and Doug Rogers, and the drums played by Matt Chamberlain (Pearl Jam, Bruce Springsteen, Peter Gabriel, etc.). Included are pre-mixed drum kits that can be extensively processed using the included effects, and over 14,000 MIDI drum grooves in different styles. Searching for the right grooves is easy with a groove 'search engine', and song assembly is possible right inside the built-in sequencer, or drag them into a DAW. A velocity processor controls the dynamics of the drums. Finally export the song to a preferred DAW to build the rest of the track.

The software utilizes a dedicated Opus playback engine, which provides a searchable browser and the ability for users to customize their sounds. It is compatible with Mac and Windows. It runs as standalone software or operates in AU, VST, or AAX formats.

Related Questions and Answers

Q: 1. Currently building up our studio capabilities of shooting top down video from the ceiling, I am looking for a clamp that can support the weight of a Canon 5D with lens to a pole from above. Would this clamp and head work for this setup or what would you recommend?

A: The Manfrotto Super Clamp with 056 3-D Junior Head can support a total of 6.6 lbs. and I would not go over 5 lbs. And less would be safer. If your camera and lens combined is less than you should be fine. If you want other suggestions it is best you contact us direct in chat or over the phones to discuss this.

Q: 2. Are the mounting threads on the super clamp itself 1/4 or 3/8? Thanks!

A: 1/4

Q: 3. Can I use 1 software token on multiple computers?

A: The Audinate DVS-TK-RES may be activated on one computer only.

Q: 4. Is this the correct stud to attach a standard tripod head (such as the 494RC2)? If not what stud should I order please?

A: The stud included with this Super Clamp would not have the correct screw thread to fit a 494 RC2. What is best to use is the Manfrotto 208HEX Head Mounting Plate with Hex Stud - 3/8 Thread B&H # MA208HEX which connects into the hex slot on the Super Clamp and has a tripod base plate on top with a 3/8 thread for attaching a head like the 494RC2. Please see the image below for reference.

Q: 5. Can this clamp be used on a Manfrotto carbon fiber medium boom extension to clamp around the boom so as to provide a microphone mounting surface on the boom?

A: It will clamp to any pole or column under 1.75". Just be careful not to crush the carbon fiber as these clamps to have a good amount of clamping force.

Q: 6. Does this come with a wedge?

A: Yes. It has a rubber type wedge that fits into the jaws (and is removable) allowing you to better clamp on flat surfaces like the edge of a table or door for example. The wedge is then removed for clamping in round objects like pipes.

Q: 7. It says that the weight of this keyboard is 65lbs, and 83lbs packaged. What is the additional 18lbs of weight? I'm looking to purchase local and then ship overseas on an airplane as a check-in; however the max weight airline companies accept is 70lbs. So would it be possible to repackage it in a safe way in which it won't weigh over 70lbs? Like taking the pedals out of the package and putting them in a separate bag?

A: Unfortunately we cannot open and repackage any products for you. Doing so would void our vendor agreements and the manufacturer's warranty.

Q: 8. Does it work on Linux? If not, will it work without the software and without what features?

A: No, this would JUST work work macOS, Windows OS. You would need to have one of those operating systems in order for it to work.

Q: 9. is the main handle on this made out of metal or plastic, along with the interior threads? I've had versions that were plastic and the threads strip out rendering the clamp useless.

A: The handle is plastic. Hardened plastic, the interior threads are not plastic.

Q: 10. What is the smallest diameter tripod leg this can effectively clamp onto?

A: The Manfrotto Super Clamp can close to 0" so you should be able to use it on any tripod leg.

[Percussion] Nothing said on YouTube is false or misleading. If you already have a keybed you love to play, just buy the sounds here and record or jam out with them.

[iLok] The depth of the sounds in this virtual instrument is staggering. It's like going from an SD TV to an OLED 8k HDTV. Very pleased with my purchase especially from B&H. Super fast shipping and the best price I could find online anywhere. Cheers! W. Oliver

[iLok] Keyscape is totally worth it. The pianos and other instruments sound great alone and In a mix. I would say that they sound better than trying to mic up a real piano. Keyscape sounds very professional and exciting. You will have fun and be very impressed. I love it.

[iLok] I'm just getting to know the program, and haven't had enough time with it, but the sound samples are fantastic - just what I was looking for.

[iLok] I've waited a while to add this to my spectrasonics collections and I must say this is worth the purchase. I will be practicing my piano skills and adding it to my music productions.

[Percussion] I think I own everything Spectrasonics has produced in at least the last 10 years. Keyscape is yet another must-have. Everyone on that team does great work. I recently had occasion to visit the studio containing many of the original instruments sampled for this collection, and while that was cool, I'm happier simply having access to this library on my computer. :-)

[iLok] I am a relatively new Omnisphere2 user. I also use Native ainstruments Kintakt 11 Ultimate. There is a gaping hole in both these programs filled quite nicely by Keyscape. It integrates well with O2 and I love it. When you realize what’s missing you go looking for it so if you’re missing quality Rhoades, whirly and other bread and butter sounds then this is your ticket. One more thing, when you invest in these expensive programs and you need help ILIO is right there to provide it completely. Try that with NI. I highly recommend this app.

[Percussion] I've been waiting for a while to buy this addition to my Spectrasonics collection and must say this is worth the purchase...the sounds are so great that I'll practice playing the piano and adding it to my productions.

[Percussion] I've been searching for a realistic piano sound for a long time. After many disappointments, I was happy to discover Keyscapes.

It is on the pricy side, but audio wise... it is worth it. I had some issues installing it, but it seemed to be with a particular hard drive. Once I tried installing on a different drive, it worked flawlessly.

Very happy with my purchase. As always, shipping and customer service by BandH is great!

[iLok] This program was a long time coming. I had been an owner of one of the original mid 1960s Compact Combos for many years, until things started to break down. And of course, next to impossible to find parts. Or people that are able and willing to repair them. Some of the modern keyboards do have some of the Farfisa sounds, but in reality, only a small amount of them(like maybe 2 or 3 of them). In reality, there is more of a diverse amount of tones that the Farfisa produced. Even resorted to buying one of the Electro-Harmonix C9 organ emulator pedals, but that still wasn't enough of these particular kinds of tone for me. Then Arturia started coming out with these new virtual instrument programs. The dealers that I normally buy from carried the similar type of Vox Continental program(which would have probably worked fine, and would have settled for it) but knowing that the Farfisa program was also being made, I had to search to see who carried it. No regrets here. All the sounds that I was familiar with, and where they were situated on the virtual keyboard screen. What was interesting that they had the option of effects pedals in this program......and I would always run my Farfisa through a Phase Shifter and/or a Flanger when I had it. Also learned a few things that I did not know about my original instrument. There used to be this one controller that stuck out of the bottom, that you controlled with your knee. When I bought my original Farfisa(used, back in the mid-70s), that knee controller was missing, and it was something I never noticed. So, a bit more historical and technical information on the instrument you played regularly---but didn't know about. It's easy to get a keyboard that has the piano, Rhodes, and Hammond sounds, to name a few......but nobody seemed to get the Farfisa sounds right. Until now. Great timing, on the part of Arturia!
