The Pelican 1910B LED Flashlight 3rd-Gen Blackis one of Pelican's more compact flashlights. It offers users two modes of illumination; a 21-lumen low and a 106-lumen high. You can also use constant-on and momentary activation types using the diamond-knurled tailcap click-type switch. The design has an aluminum housing with a black finish, a polycarbonate front lens, and an EPDM O-ring for waterproofing. The light uses one AAA battery and has a carbon-steel pocket clip for securing it to your pocket or belt.

A: It takes 2 AA Batteries, which is one of the reasons I love it. Very easy to find them, and are cheap, when you need to replace them. Excellent quality flashlight.

Q: 3. How do you charge the built in battery? By directly connecting to the power source using an adapter or a USB? Can this be used internationally?

A: The unit is charged via ac adapter.

Q: 4. Can this light use rechargeable batteries? As I understand it, rechargeables have a lower voltage than alkalines which are specified.

A: Yes it can use rechargeable batteries, the voltage change will not effect the flashlight operation

A: The beam cannot be focused on the Pelican 2370.

A: It has a pocket clip as shown, but does not have a hole for a lanyard.

Q: 8. Can rechargeable AA NiMH batteries be used?

A: Yes you can use rechargeable AA batteries.

Q: 9. The guy in the video says it's over 600 Lumens. B&H specs say it's over 700 lumens or 774 Lumens so which is it?

A: The manufacturers spec is 774 lumens for the high setting.

Q: 10. What temperature of light does it put out? Is it appropriate for light painting?

A: Flashlight color temp is not rated as the LED can vary more drastically from batch to batch than LED used for photo or video. Depending on your luck and color temp a flashlight can be used for light painting.

[Polycarbonate] Very compact and bright, the best part is it uses only one AAA battery. So, I brought two. One for my dad, and the other one I keep in my camera bag. Love it! 5

[1x White LED] The Pelican 3rd generation 1910B LED flashlight puts out a bright narrow beam. Light is even thanks to the LED bulb. The attached clip makes it easy to place on the bill of my cap, or in my shirt pocket or pants pocket. It's only 3 1/2 inches long and about a 1/2 inch in diameter so it's an easy carry in a purse or pocket. I carry it in my camera bag for night shooting, it's narrow beam is ideal for checking what settings and buttons I'm pushing. Takes a single AAA battery and has a diagram on the side of the battery cap to remind you how to insert the battery. The aluminum body is light weight and durable. The push on and off button is conveniently located at the back of the flashlight and the whole unit works in a downpour. 5

[1x White LED] Initial impressions: Quite impressed for size and brightness, and convenience of AAA batteries. Most times I need a light it is for a short period of time, so I appreciate the small size + brightness at the cost of short duration (2.5 hours on high, 4 hours on low). Having another fresh AAA battery seems like a good trade off. Most impressed with how easily it fits in the pocket watch pocket of my jeans, makes for easy every day carry (EDC). Picked this up on sale and quite happy with the price around $15 though would not consider for much higher. 5

[1x White LED] I am constantly looking for a small bright flashlight that can be carried easily. I have to admit I was not convinced when I put the order in. Single AAA battery? Come on, how can that have enough power? I jumped in and bought 2. I was very pleasantly surprised!. The light is very bright for its size. The small battery does not hinder its performance. Very well designed and is of quality materials and manufacturing. I highly recommend it. 5

[ 2.5 to 4 Hours] I ordered this for my wife for her to carry in her purse. It's small, brightly colored and easy to use. Most importantly, it shines more brightly than the one she already had, and it's smaller. So, it's a winner all the way around for us. 5
