This 67 mm Hoya 67mm Portrait Glass Filterfrom Hoya 67mm Portrait Glass Filteris designed to enhance pink colors by reducing the yellow and orange colors and making neutral skin tones much more vivid. Combine with a UV filter when shooting under blue skies.

The portrait filter has a filter factor of 1.15, so you should increase your exposure by 1/5 of a stop to compensate. Light transmission benefits from the filter's single coating on each side of the glass which reduces reflections off the surface of the filter. The ring is made of aluminum adding strength and protection to the lens while is screwed on.

[Glass] Hoya lenses are quite impressive. This portrait glass works well in softening the face reducing the need for make up, which is the reason I bought it.

[0.135 lb] I'm using this all the time now in a portrait studio. It seems to control yellow which can often mean additional computer work. First impression is that the photos without this filter seem warmer compared to photos made with it, but I find skin tones are more accurate and pleasant looking with this filter. Like it a lot.
