A: The master headset included with the Eartec UltraLITE 4-Person Full-Duplex Wireless Intercom can be used with up to 5 remote headsets. In order to accommodate 6 headsets, you will need to purchase the Eartec HUB Mini Duplex Transceiver Base for 1 Plug-In & up to 8 Wireless UltraLITE Headsets (B&H # EAHUB) which would replace the master headset. The HUB can be used with up to 8 wireless remote headsets and 1 wired headset that will connect directly to the HUB to accommodate a total of 9 users. The master headset and HUB both have the same electronics built-in and cannot be used together and the HUB only works with wireless remote headsets and the 1 wired headset. You may want to consider purchasing the Eartec HUB6S UltraLITE 6-Person HUB Intercom System (B&H # EAHUB6S) from the start. [Digital DECT ] We previously had used the comstar package and we periodically had problems with our headsets breaking. Usually it would be the mouthpiece breaking, and we would have to send them back to be fixed. Not to mention they were very bulky and we constantly were having to check if our coms were on/tell others that their coms were left on. The Hub headsets have a much smaller form factor and are much lighter on the head. We really like that it will automatically mute when you put the mouth piece up. Makes it so most of our communication isn't telling others to turn their com off. It has been great thus far!

[8] I love the way these work and how easy it was to set up.
Nothing beats being able to reach out to the other tech even while loud music is playing. Great purchase.

[GFSK] After years in the broadcast industry, I wanted to find an affordable solution to communicate easily with camera operators. So far, this Eartec system fits the bill. As long as the batteries are removed and recharged between shoots, I expect that I will not run out of power. I am using with my ATEM Mini Extreme and it simplifies the work flow.

[Digital DECT ] If you're on the fence, I'd highly recommend. Super light and pretty comfortable, connection was rock solid in my experience. Setup is a breeze and it's so simple even directors can figure them out. Time will tell for durability but they hold up great so far. Other reviews have mentioned it but there's a small hum while they're on, you don't notice after a minute but that's the only complaint I could have. For the price, these are an absolutely fantastic addition to your kit.
