[2RU] I purchased this product to size a 2.5 SSD appropriately for the 3.5 HDD plastic caddy for a Dell Optiplex. I appreciate that this product comes with all the hardware necessary to mount two 2.5 drives, and to mount the converter itself if needed. While I only had one 2.5 drive to use, I also like the ability to add another 2.5 drive if wanted/needed in the future. It is also nice that the converter is metal, not plastic. Makes it feel much more solid and reliable.

] Allowed me to easily mount an SSD drive in a an older Dell desktop computer.

[ATX] is all I need! I don't have space in my machine, and this converted help me to put my two SDD disk in one slot, and set free one slot of 3.5" for another HDD disk.

[4x Low-Profile] I purchased this product to install the SSD I recently bought. Was thinking about using double sided tape, but this is definitely the way to go, especially if you have an extra 2.5 inch drive you want to press into service. Very pleased with the product and the ease of installation.

[Aluminum, Steel] I'm thrilled with this case. All metal construction, the colors on the front panels look great, and the internals are all well made, precisely machined, and have rolled edges to avoid any finger slices. I could not be happier with this purchase.

] 2U and small depth is perfect

[6x 3.5"] I bought this case to move an existing NAS from an ITX tower into a rack mountable case. I had (5) 3.5 drives to mount. I found a (3) 3.5 to (2) 5.25 bay adapter with matching hexagon venting (the black isn't a perfect match, but good enough for a rack) and was able to add another 80mm fan. I thought I would only be able to fit one drive on top of each of the 3.5 cages making this adapter necessary. With an ITX board I was able to fit two drives in each of the 3.5 bays. The drive bay adapter brings the total capacity up to (7) 3.5 drives which seems insane for a short depth 2U case.


I already had a SFX power supply with an SFX to ATX adapter which allowed for some extra room. A 24-pin extension was necessary to reach the motherboard. I don't think this would be an issue with a standard ATX power supply.

It definitely feels like a cheap case. For the price I'm not complaining at all. My only gripe is I wasn't able to find rails that were compatible with my shorter depth rack (Tripp Lite SWR15US). I overcame this by mounting a shelf on the rear posts of my rack to support the back of the case which makes getting this in and out of the rack much easier.

Overall a great case. I couldn't find anything else able to support (5) 3.5 drives in a short depth 2U chassis for even double the price.

] This is a wonderful case for building a mini-itx server. Love the fact that it doesn't use trays. Just slide the bare drive in and your ready to go. Very high quality.

[2RU] I installed a 2.5 1TB SSD on this converter and it works as advertised. No issues.

[4x Low-Profile] I found I didn't need this for my drive bay after all for it had screw holes in the tray that fit 2.5in drives. It was good for holding the drive in while I transferred files to it though.
