The D-3100HB 3U Compact 10 x 3.5" HDD Bay Hotswap microATX Chassis from iStarUSA is designed for Home Theater Personal Computer (HTPC) or media center computer usage. The elegant and functional chassis is suitable for both rackmount and desktop orientation, and features a black HDD handle. With a storage capacity of up to 8TB for each bay, the hot-swap drive cage maximizes data storage and backup functionality at the same time. This audio / video rackmount chassis is a suitable platform for HTPC builds using popular AMD and Intel processors.

A: The Kramer PT-3U Active USB 3.2 Gen 1 Extender comes with a USB cable which can be used for power, but it does not include a wall brick to connect the USB cable to an AC outlet.

A: This is actually not a 'duh' question, but a very prudent one. I do not believe the enclosure would fit an enclosure inside as all of the existing mounting hardware in those drive bays will impede you from adding a box inside.

A: Yes, the Sonnet xMac Studio Pro 3U Rackmount Enclosure can fit in the SKB 6U Roto Shallow Rack Case, B&H # SK1SKBR6S.

A: The iStarUSA Compact Stylish 3x 3.5" Hotswap Trayless mini-ITX Tower has 3.5" bays. DVD drives would not fit.

A: This case is not waterproof, and yes, replacement latches and gaskets are available.

A: No, this unit would just be an Enclosure. It would have 10 bays s you can add 10 2.5" or 3.5 " drives. As well as 2 M.2 slots.

[ATX] I started out with this before I quickly realized I was going to go all out for a home lab and got a 16U with casters. I currently have this one sitting on top of the 16U and it will go to use at some point. I put rubber feet on it and it's a solid, sturdy unit. 5

[3RU] I did an AMD 5600 build at work and liked it so much I had to do it at home with my 7700x. You can only get 4x 3.5 HDD drives with an mATX board so if you want 7 then plan on using ITX. I am putting this at the top of my Echogear U20 because it is the perfect depth for the top slots that don't let the chassis slide out the back since there are support brackets at the back of the top slots. Everything seems to fit together perfectly, no complaints. Most compact function system I own here or in the office 5

[10x 3.5"] Perfect for my video production audio recording. Holds an interface (Focusrite 18i20 3rd gen, ART S8 splitter, 1'connecting cables and 10' snake for FOH). Enough room behind interface and splitter to coil up the ten foot snake (8, ten foot XLR cables connected to direct out for PA mixer). Only weak point is the optional provided shoulder strap. Week. Cuts into shoulder. I don't use it. Added a little break down rolling dolly. 5

[2x 80 mm] Everything I need to put my Venue rack RF scanner. antennas in the closing lids and paddle in the big top pocket with the BNC cables and connectors. Its portable with the strap. its perfect for my unit. Looks professional and will for sure protect my scanner...it will be easier to carry it on a plane now. Thanks B&H for the fast and awesome service. 5

[ATX] Sturdy Wallmount rack that doesn't wobble. The adjustable depth is great so there's room for power cords. It even has hinges to swing out patch panels for easy wiring. I've used dozens of these, and haven't found anything else that even comes close. 5
