[5] I am so happy to finally find a trimmer that has the deckle blade. I love that edge on my note cards. The Carl trimmer blade is a little smaller than what I have been using, but so far it cuts well. I will be using it on card stock. I love the storage on the bottom of the trimmer for extra blades. I was impressed with the person that helped me at their location. He knew what I wanted and helped me get the accessories that I would need. Good to get all of the accessories at one place and know they will be available when needed.

[5] I've tried several over the years. Got this recommendation from a fellow crafter who claims that she's had hers for over 20 years and has just first changed her cutting blade! And this woman cuts multiple sheets at once and has a flourishing paper crafting business!

[0.615 lb] I use this in the office to cut misc forms I print every week or so. It is a great way to spread out the cost instead of ordering 5000 forms at a time. Seems reliable and well built, and it was recommended by a friend in the printing industry who uses it heavily for scoring and cutting every day. Does just as well on photos as cheap paper.

BUT I tried on the B+H website and the Carl website to find the overall dimensions. Maybe they were there but I couldn't find them. Problem is that it is too big for my work table and hangs over. I should have bought the smaller 12 one. The 12 one is considerably cheaper too.


BUT the operating instructions are not very good. I had to resort to a independent YouTube video to figure out how to unlock the paper clamp.

[0.615 lb] This product works. It exceeded my expectations. There is nothing worse when trimming paper than to have the paper move, mid cut. The Carl DC-220 securely holds the paper and the cuts are precise, including the measuring system. When you unbox, you feel the substance that the board and cutting gear has. When actually making the cut, there is absolutely no need to bear down on the cutter. Merely push it along its track and the cut is done. I would highly recommend this unit.

[5] Ive had my RT-200 for almost 20 years. As long as you replace the blade and the cutting pads when needed, it will last. Ive cut tens of thousands of DVD covers with it. I even overload it (regularly) and it cuts true.
