A: The manufacturers spec is 774 lumens for the high setting.

Q: 5. What temperature of light does it put out? Is it appropriate for light painting?

A: Flashlight color temp is not rated as the LED can vary more drastically from batch to batch than LED used for photo or video. Depending on your luck and color temp a flashlight can be used for light painting.

[Empty] Awesome combination of features. Lots of flexibility of Batteries ! Once you mass Tactical Flashlights you end up with a few different High End Batteries! I have been using Rechargeable versions of them all for heading on 10 years. Trowing out $9+ Non-Rechargeable batteries is a $0 Sum Game! 5

[Black] Typical for Pelican this light is extremely well made and Bright. I already own several other rechargeable units so I switched to a Rechargeable Pelican Battery as soon as I opened it (Through the two included Duracell 123 in my bag). 5
