The binder rings are made of steel and have a matte black color. A: You may use the Start by Prat Archival Sheet Protectors (18 x 24 , 5-Pack) B&H # STNR24 which are very easy to install.

Q: 2. Is this binder suitable for archival storage of photos that are themselves in archival sleeves?

A: The binder itself is not archival and depending on how the binder with photos in pages is stored (heat, humidity and such) it may overtime release some gases harmful to your photos.

Q: 3. what are the measurements?

A: Yes, the Vue-All Archival Safe T-Binder with 1 O-Ring can accept the Print File Negative Pages for 6 Strips/6 Frames of 35mm film.

Q: 5. which refills should I buy for this binder? I only find refills for Prat.

A: BH #STSRL14 are refills for this binder.

Q: 6. Are the rings O-rings or D-rings?

A: O Rings

A: Yes, it comes with 11 pages.

Q: 8. How many inserts can this binder actually hold?

A: I have doubled the inserts that it originally came with but am not sure how many more it could actually hold. It also depends on how full you pack each insert... I'd say you should at least be able to triple the original filling size of inserts. Hope that helps! Solid binder! Wouldn't want to miss it for the world...

Q: 9. Is it waterproof?

A: no. briefly water repellent in my experience, but definitely not proof.

Q: 10. How many pages can 18x24 hold? The binder width looks to be 1" in the reference image.

A: I would say 20 pages would be max.

[2.45 lb] Great binder for show artwork. I am a huge fan of live music, but had to stop purchasing posters. Nowhere left to keep them and not much more wall space. I love this book! All but 2 of my posters fit. No more tubes! Definitely worth the purchase. Now I just need some more shows to go to. 5

[Black] I couldn't be more pleased with this portfolio! It is exactly as presented on the web site. It is structurally well made and the inserts to store art work are crystal clear and beautifully display art projects. I love the fact that it has the binder rings so pages can be easily turned. [2.45 lb] This binder is awesome! Great for storing any poster or litho to keep it safe. 2 separate ring rows make it EASY to open and close. Also comes with a vinyl storage divider to keep unused pages together. Glad I purchased it! Happy customer. 5

[Black] Very durable/sturdy, preservation system for photos, art, anything worth maintaining. The only option I would love: various colors for identification purposes i.e. blue for photos, red for artwork etc. Otherwise, fabulous. 5

[2.45 lb] This particular Itoya Art Portfolio is a well-made and expertly holds and displays pieces of art. I use mine to display concert posters. The pieces slide easily into the binder pages and they are the perfect dimensions so as to allow an 18x24 fit snugly and not slide around and cause damage to the edges. I highly recommend this product. 5

[2.45 lb] These are wonderful for older papers, which I collect. I store them in here and they hold hundreds. These books are also easy to store on top of each other. 5
