[Aluminum] I got this to mount some Axis cameras to the ceiling. This mount fits beautifully with dropped ceilings. It only took me 5 minutes per camera to mount it. 5

[0.86 lb] This is a good bracket for mounting the Hikvision Speed Dome. It allows most of the hardware of the speed dome to be hidden above the ceiling exposing only the transparent dome. Thanks B+H for the great price which was about half the price of every other supplier on the web, and the fast shipping. 5

[Aluminum] Was able to mount this into the soffit of the house, bought this and the (Dahua Technology PFA111 Mount Adapter for Network and HD-CVI PTZ Cameras). Works with my Amcrest (IP2M-853EW) PTZ camera. 5

[0.86 lb] You may want to ensure that the mount is levelled when you install it. The ceiling I had was a bit off causing the video to seem off. A small shim fixed it without even needing to undo the mount. Installation is very easy and the mount is perfect for the PTZ camera I purchased. 5
