Subwoofer Compatible - The ButtKicker Advance can be used with your existing subwoofer. If there is only one output, an optional Y-cable can be used. Thermal Switch - The ButtKicker Advance is set to shut down automatically if it gets too hot in order to prevent damage to the unit. Please note the accessories listed on this product page.

[United States] This was My second DS80 printers and was bought to some extent as a backup. I had a problem with it after just a couple of months. DNP paid shipping both ways and fixed the problem promptly at No Charge. They offer to send an exchange refurbished unit next day air but I had them fix mine since it was so new. Their service is good but out of warranty is expensive. My other printer never given a problem in 1 and 1/2 years and is no longer in warranty so I was surprised to have a problem with the new one. 5

[United States] The rollers on my old fi-3160 finally after 15 years became gummy bears. Figured it was time to get a new scanner. The 8170 looked very similar to the old 3160 but boasted a lightning fast PPM rate. Set up was pretty straight forward once I figured out that for some reason I could not make Scandall Pro work with the 8170, although it worked well with the old scanner. For lack of any other option, I tried out PaperStream Click Scan that came with the new scanner. Turns out it is much easier to get the options you want than Scandall and a much easier interface by a wide margin. Great piece of office equipment and software. 5

[United States] My printer is only a few weeks old and I have only done a few prints. This one product I hope I never have to use. But it sure is nice to know that the company will back the printer up like this. 5
