Q: 1. Will this auto-switch is one of the inputs is always on (local pc)?

A: The Kramer 2x1 Automatic 4K UHD HDMI Standby Switcher (B&H# KRVS211H2) offers both priority and last connected switching options and automatically switches on that basis. So, if you plug something new into the switcher and put out an HDMI signal from it then it can be set to switch to that new input.

Q: 2. Does this kit come with the power supply?

A: Yes, the Atlona 4K HDMI over HDBaseT 2x1 Switch Wall Plate Extender Kit includes a power supply.

Q: 3. Does this come with both transmitter and receiver? The image shows both but the description only says transmitter.

A: A purchase of the Atlona 4K/UHD HDMI Transmitter over 100M HDBaseT with Ethernet, Control, and PoE only includes the transmitter, the receiver must be purchased separately.

Q: 4. Since it supports 4K HDR, I assume Dolby Vision will work as well? Ordered it for delivery Dec. 1

Q: 5. Is the length of 393' (4K) per receiver or the total for all four receivers combined?

A: The limit is 393 feet per receiver.

A: Correct, the RS-232 input on the main unit of the BZBGear 1x8 UHD 4K 18 Gb/s HDMI-over-HDBaseT Splitter/Distribution Amplifier ins the main point of entry/exit for the RS232 signal which is then embedded in each individual RJ45 output.

Q: 8. what is the max. distribution distance ?

A: An HDMI signal travelling over a standard HDMI cable with no built in signal booster will generally have a distance of 50 feet.

A: A remote is not included.

[7.2 in] I got this switcher to prepare for a class on digital tools for scientific content. The class is an instrumentation review of consumer cameras and editing with Premier Pro CC. I use the switcher to send computer and camera output to a projector and Matrox Monarch HD device for recording output. The VM-24HC device puts out a very clean and stable signal and has a remote to change inputs. Nice tool for my needs to change 2 HDMI inputs. 5

[AC 120/230 V] This pushes HDMI signal just right for me. Had two 100' runs for this to 2 monitors with no artifacts or loss of color or clarity. It had a 100' run from the switcher so 200' no issues. Perfect little box and man are they pricey though for 1x2. 5

[AC 120/230 V] I bought this to replace a dying switch. It is everything I hoped it would be. It solved three separate troubles we had with power switching on end devices. Device on or off caused Mac to loose its display config. The switch blocks the signal with EDID. Will definitely consider Kramer for future needs. 5

[3 lb] Using in concert with Kramer 571 and 572 HDMI over CAT6 pico tools. Running signal 100' with no issues at all. Have an extra switchable input available for the future. Accessories make for a clean rack installation. 5
