This LanParte Extension Arm URSA Mini Mountis specifically designed to work with the original handgrip of the URSA Mini and a baseplate or shoulder rig (available separately). It allows you to position the handgrip at an extended distance from the camera, increasing the overall stability of the rig and making operation more comfortable. The extension arm adds almost 1' of length to the handgrip, and the included Arri-style rosette extension can be used to add just over 2" distance from the side of the camera rig. The rosette connection allows the arm to be positioned at whatever angle you prefer. This arm features a handily incorporated LANC cable, allowing you to maintain use of all the handgrip's controls.

Q: 1. What is the diameter size of the small rod? Standard 15mm? Is it threaded inside?

A: Yes the small rod on the LanParte EVF Extension Arm for Sony PXW-FS5 is a 15mm rod that is not threaded.

Q: 2. It the rail compatible with NATO accessories?

A: No, there is not NATO rail on the LanParte EVF Extension Arm for Sony PXW-FS5.

Q: 3. I have a Zeiss Compact prime lense whose diameter is longer than 100mm. I wonder if Lanparte can include a matte box that will be compatible with my Zeiss compact prime lense?

A: The Pro shoulder kit actually comes with a matte box that should work just fine with your lens. Although it is not a clamp on matte box, it is a swing away that is attached to the 15mm rails.

Q: 4. What is the weight capacity for using a carry handle? Can we use two of these C-supports to increase the weight capacity?

A: I would say the safe capacity of this is in the 15-20 lb range. Since this for use as a cage for a camera, lens and accessories it should only be used for that purpose. Any other would be a situation of proceeding at your own risk.

Q: 5. Will this work for the C200 since its standard Rosette on both ends as well?

A: This is designed specifically for the BlackMagic URSA Mini. It may work with other cameras that have standard rosettes, however we do not recommend it.

Q: 6. Is this fully compatible with the URSA Mini Pro?

A: Yes it is fully compatible.

Q: 7. I intend on using the Anton Bauer CINE 150 GM Battery to power my BM URSA MINI 4.6K camera, and accessories. Can I request switch out the V-mount battery pinch with Lanparte's Gold mount battery pinch for the Lanparte Pro shoulder kit? Thank you

A: The V mount plate that is included is a backplate that can be installed directly to the back of the camera. Unfortunately, the Gold Mount plate we have can only be attached to the 15mm rails. If you can accept that, feel free to contact us at 714-838-8838 and we can further discuss if we can get you a customized kit with the Gold Mount plate.

Q: 8. Do bolts come with this battery plate? How many? If only two bolts come with the plate, can someone provide a link to buy two more compatible additional bolts?

A: Mounting hardware is included, however we do not sell additional hardware.

Q: 9. What do you estimate the weight of this complete kit with the ursa 4.6k would be?

A: I am not sure if you are referring to URSA or URSA Mini so I will provide you both. It will weigh 48 lbs with URSA 4.6K on it, when fully assembled, and 35 lbs with URSA Mini 4.6K.

Q: 10. Is there any crop factor when using a 2/3 lens and this B4 mount? I can't find anything definitive from Black Magic or the lens manufacturers.

A: You have to engage the lens's 2x extender to make it cover the entire sensor (a 2-stop loss).

I wasn't interested in paying $400 for the additional shoulder mount kit, and wasn't sure of the options. This thing is sturdy as hell and I can still mount a monitor on top, perfect addition to the camera. 5

[1.1 lb (0.5 kg)] Quickly and easily installed this mount on an Ursa Broadcast after removing the stock B4 mount. Works great with a Canon F2.8 24-70mm . Study mount, great images. Iris and Focus are remotely controllable through the camera controls or ATEM remote. 5

[Aluminum] It's an EF mount for Ursa. I put it on my 12k so I could use my EF glass. Install takes about 5 minutes and is completely reversable. Having a small torque wrench is recommended in the Blackmagic Ursa manual. 5
