This Zacuto Gratical EVF Anti-Fog +1 Diopterfrom Zacuto Gratical EVF Anti-Fog +1 Diopterallows you to customize the Gratical EVF to your eyesight by increasing the viewfinder magnification range. Use the diopter to boost the magnification from the original +4 maximum to a +5 factor. The diopter features an anti-fog coating and can be used with the EVF's Anti-Fog screen to further decrease the fogging sometimes caused by high humidity, an extreme change in temperature, etc.

Q: 1. Hi.. can I use this with Phantom flex 4k camera ?

A: We are not familiar with Phantom cameras. However if that camera has an HDMI or SDI output which send out a signal that is up to 1080p at 60fps it should work fine. However this will not see any super fast slow motion frame rates.

Q: 2. Does this work with RED DSMC2?

A: Just as long as you have an SDI Module on your DSMC2 camera this will work well.

Q: 3. I noticed a red shift with ours. If you angle off axis it goes away. Not quite how I want to use it. Anyone witness this?

Q: 4. Can the Eye be powered from the Ursa Mini Pro's 4-pin XLR side output (the same one that powers their own viewfinders?)

A: Yes, and here is the cable: Nebtek 4-Pin XLR Male to 2-Pin LEMO Bolt Power Cable (6') B&H # NEBOLTL2XLR4. There is also the option of powering from a d-tap if you wish to use the Eye on another camera that does not have a 4 pin XLR power connection. Zacuto Power & Video Cable (30 ) B&H # ZAZEPVC.

Q: 5. Is it really compatible to Kameleon Pro EVF? Thanks

A: Yes, the Zacuto LP-E6 Battery Pack Set for Gratical Eye EVF is compatible with the Kameleon Pro EVF.

Q: 6. Can I power the Gratical Eye with my c300 camera only? I don't necessarily want to use external power (ex: anton bauer).

A: The Gratical Eye can ONLY be powered from an 12-16.8 volt external source thru the Lemo 2 pin power input . I don't own a C300 but looking at the specs I do not see a power out on that camera. So a Anton Bauer or similar external battery is must to use this EVF.

Q: 7. Does this show the battery life remaining?

A: The display screen includes a battery meter.

Q: 8. Does this work with the Panasonic Varicam LT?

A: Yes. The Zacuto Gratical Eye Micro OLED EVF, this item BH #ZAZGRE • MFR #Z-GRE will work with the Varicam LT. See below. The Varicam LT has this port that you can use to connect to the EVF. VF SDI terminal HD (1.5G)/3G-SDI: 0.8 V [p-p], 75 Ω

Q: 9. Does this EVF have a record tally light in the viewfinder so you can tell if you are rolling? I am using it on a Sony FS 5.

A: The Zacuto Kameleon EVF Pro does not feature a tally light.

Q: 10. I come from the world of ENG TV/video cameras and not cinema cameras, so I'm not as familiar with rosette mounts. If this mounts with a fixed rosette onto a monitor mount with its own fixed rosette, how does one easily rotate the EVF up and down?

A: Position the rosette before tightening.

[0.1 oz (3 g)] I found a bulk loader full of Ansco Super-Hypan, last made in 1967. After many development attempts and step-by-step improvements, I'm able to get usable, scannable, and darkroom printable (yes, really!) negatives. I'm use HC-110 at dilution B, and I add 45 drops (about 3mL) in my 400mL of developer. This works out to be 7.5mg/L of developer. Continuous agitation for 9 minutes is used to maximize activity in the highlights with the highly-restrained developer. 5

[0.05 lb] I know this is meant for the Gratical, but I recently installed it on my Z-Finder and it works perfectly for eyes that need a little extra magnification in the viewfinder. 5

[0.05 lb] I use it with the ZACUTO Kameleon. I've tried the +3 also, but it was too much magnifying. Be careful with the screw when you put this one back in, not too tight... 5

[1.6" (40 mm)] Amazing viewfinder in a compact form-factor compared to others. I used it on a FS7 and now on the Komodo. A good quick-adjustable rigging solution like the Zacuto Axis Mini is a must, especially for doc shooters I think. 5

[0.05 lb] I bought this because I wasn't getting power to the EVF from a v-mount battery, so I wasn't sure if it was the 4 pin LEMO cable or a battery issue. When I attached this unit the EVF fired right up. I really like it. It has an off/on switch which can help conserve your battery power. I've used it a couple hours, but not continuously so I'm not sure how much time you'd actually get if you kept it on. I think it's a great option if you're not running a v-mount battery or just want a backup. I'm glad I got it. 5
