Related Questions and Answers

Q: 1. Changing factory codr

A: You would have to contact Barska for that information.

Q: 2. Will this converter work with the AF Nikkor 80-200mm f2.8 D?

A: No, the Sigma teleconverters are designed to work with Sigma brand lenses. The one I recommend with Nikon 80-200 is the Keno Teleplus Pro 300 DGX 2x AF for Nikon.

Q: 3. Does this fit the Crest CKi series power amplifier?

A: The Crest CKi series uses barrier strip and 4-pin Phoenix connectors, so the Hosa Technology Phoenix 3-Pole Female Connector would not be a match.

Q: 4. Will this converter work with the Tamron 150 - 600mm ?

A: Sigmas teleconverters are only compatible with a select number of Sigmas pro-level telephoto lenses. They are not compatible with lenses from other manufacturers. So, the TC-2001 will not be compatible with the Tamron 150-600mm lens. You could look at the Tamron 2x AF Teleconverter for Nikon. Keep in mind, though, you will lose autofocus.

Q: 5. Where are the specs?

A: You can view the specs for the ASUS GeForce RTX 3050 Phoenix Graphics Card BH #ASPHRT30508G by clicking on the "Specs" tab of the product. They are also available on Asus website. https://www.asus.com/Motherboards-Components/Graphics-Cards/Phoenix/PH-RTX3050-8G/techspec/

Q: 6. If biometrics fail, can this safe be accessed with the keys?

A: Yes the model comes with 2 x Backup Keys.

Q: 7. Is it set up to bolt to the floor?

A: No media safes can be bolted to the floor. The hole compromises the heat and humidity protection.

Q: 8. Will this fit the JBL CSA 2120Z Audio Amplifier?

A: Yes it will.

Q: 9. Are these compatible with the phoenix connectors that LiteGear uses on its products?

A: In order to properly answer your question, please tell us what connectors you wish to use. provideo@bhphoto.com.

Q: 10. Does this work on 17-70 contemporary lens?

A: The Sigma TC-2001 2x Teleconverter for Sigma SA will not be compatible with the Sigma Contemporary 17-70mm lens, no. This teleconverter is only compatible with a select number of Sigmas telephoto zoom lenses. Typically, lenses with a focal length wider than 50mm are not compatible with teleconverters due to their lens construction. Attempting to use a teleconverter with a lens with a focal length wider than 50mm, you would risk damaging the rear element of the lens and the teleconverter itself.

[107 lb] Posted this review for the Canon version by mistake. Reposting for the Nikon Version. I read the product information and a few reviews that said autofocus didn't work for the full zoom range of the Sigma 60-600 with the 2x teleconverter (Says manual focus only for the sigma 60-600 in the product information section on the BH website). However I already knew that the auto focus works with the Nikon 2x teleconverter and Nikon 200-500 on a Nikon Z7 so I bought it anyway hoping it also would work with a Nikon Z7, and it did! For the full 2x zoom range of 120-1200! Very happy with this product. I haven't fully tested it yet but the sharpness seems to be very good. Auto focus didn't work at all on my D850, but I am in transition from F to Z anyway. I suspect this will be the case for most mirrorless cameras and auto focus at hight F stops that result from 2x teleconverter use. I will upload images after further testing. Also very happy with the Sigma 60-600.

[25 x 24.5 x 22"] I have had many bags from competitive companies, and the zippers have always been the problem. The Ogio warranty was the deciding factor for me. So far it is holding up and I have been very happy with the functionality.

[25 x 24.5 x 22"] These were used to replace broken or missing power plugs for Red Lion Graphite Series HMI's. They have performed excellently and in a batch of 25, we have yet to come across a bad unit.

[107 lb] TC's are always made for specific lenses be it OEM or third party TC's. Even the a novice knows that a TC will degrade picture quality. You can expect a good 2x TC to degrade your image quality by 25% and a 1.4x to degrade about 5-8%. You also will lose two stops of light. Another important fact is the difficulty shooting at very long focal lengths. The haze alone in the air will show over long distances. This is not a defect of optics but a phenomenon of nature. As far as the review for this item. After doing a bit of POST processing, you will have great images. Expect to apply more sharpening and contrast. Unless you have a boat load of money, little alternatives can be found but you will be getting much closer to your subjects than was ever possible. I'll update my review when I get more time with the 120-300mm sport and maybe I'll even see if the zeiss 135mm f2 fits it. Ignore the other two 3 star reviews, they knock it because of firmware update and only working with limited lenses.

[25 x 24.5 x 22"] Works great. Make sure to check compatibility list before purchasing and pay attention to auto focus compatibility. I use on a 70-200 and it works beautifully. I’ll be getting the 1.4 in the fire to use on my 150-600 as not enough light for the 2x on that lens

[107 lb] I just purchased the Sigma TC-2001 2x Teleconverter to use with both my Nikon D850 and Nikon Z6ii. I've only tried it with with Sigma 100-400mm f/5-6.3 Contemporary lens, although I can also use it with my Sigma 70-200mm f2.8 DG OS HSM Sport lens. I've been trying to learn about lunar photography and using my Sigma TC-1401 1.4x Teleconverter. I saw an instant difference in the extra reach when shooting moonscapes. Yes, it will cost a couple of stops in light, but that is hardly a negative in lunar photography and the TC-2001 should be very handy when searching for raptor nests, etc., as well as capturing distant landscapes during the day.
