A: There is no optional add on (they might of planned to do it), they do have X Drop 5x12' that will give you the baseboard.

A: I haven't looked at in in a while but I believe it is sharp. It does photograph well. And, of course, it depends on your aperture settings.

A: This is printed on Vinyl and it can be used as a backdrop or a floor mat.

Q: 6. A customer reported that this backdrop does not look the same as pictured on B&H's website. Can anyone upload a picture to show how this backdrop really looks? Thanks.

A: Wei,Not sure what the issue may have been back in February of last year as the current one shown here appears identical to the file we use at Wescott to print the backdrop. Provided your monitor is fairly accurate and you light the background appropriately for photography, I cannot see why your final image would not provide the same tones and patterns you see in the sample image.

Q: 7. Could this vinyl backdrop be used as a floor with an X Drop?

A: You can use the backdrop as a floor with the X-drop. There are also baseboards which can be used to create a good transition from the background to the floor.

Q: 8. can this be stuffed or folded for storage?

A: The Westcott X-Drop Lightweight Canvas Backdrop (Classic Wall Molding, 5 x 7') BH #WE646C is rolled. Folding or stuffing it into a bag risks damaging the pattern.

Q: 9. Will the backdrop (9x10) be large enough to do a video interview with 2 cameras? The cameras will be very close together.

A: Yes, though the two people will have to be close together.

[5] This was my initial purchase of the vinyl line offered by Westcott. The build quality and the durability are surprising and makes them well worth the money. I now own three (3) of these and this is by far my favorite. Almost appears as an Old Masters type that us normally purchase from one of the vendors in Alabama. Also reminds me of one that I purchased from a vendor in Kansas over 30 years ago and is still functioning like a champ. The design appears to have what looks like bubbles or dot that were in the pattern but, if you use the correct aperture, you will not be able to distinguish the design printed on the vinyl. The unit is also non-reflective so, there is no worries if your monolight or speed light is setup so that some of the light spills on the background. Finally, the aluminum frame makes it a far cry better to transport in contrast to the traditional 10' x 12' muslin, stands, crossbar, and sandbags. Setup in minutes and there are no creases to contend with. Thank Westcott and B&H. Love B&H shipping policy and the awesome customer service. I have been a customer for almost 4 decades and still happy with them as a vendor. 5

[1] I used it straight out of the box into a session. It fit the stand perfectly and the vinyl was easy to roll. The background was a bit lighter than I expected but it photographed well. 5

[Damask Pink] This X-Drop is so easy to set-up and breakdown. The Vintage Gray is vinyl backdrop is really good quality and looks just like the image online. Can't wait to use it! 5

[Vinyl] I used this as both flooring and a backdrop to do newborn portraits. Its ideal as flooring because its so easy to clean for little ones and if you use the right depth of field it looks terrific in the background. I used it on my X-Drop stand and it stretches out with no wrinkles. 5
