A: Wei,Not sure what the issue may have been back in February of last year as the current one shown here appears identical to the file we use at Wescott to print the backdrop. Provided your monitor is fairly accurate and you light the background appropriately for photography, I cannot see why your final image would not provide the same tones and patterns you see in the sample image.

Q: 6. Can B&H confirm if the canvas version of this backdrop is the old cloth like material they used to make them out of vs. their new almost vinyl like material they are now producing? I believe Westcott made the change back in November of 2021

A: The Westcott X-Drop Pro Backdrop Stand (5 and 8') measures approximately 99.5 x 96 x 66.5" / 252.7 x 243.8 x 168.9 cm. Generally, this is enough coverage to shoot a standing subject with extra space but that depends on how tall the subject is and how close they are standing to the background.
