Q: 1. Does this come with the clip or safety pins?

A: No, the Remote Audio URSA Pouch for Wireless Transmitters does not include any clips or safety pins.

Q: 2. How tight an angle can the gooseneck hold. Many pics show about 45 degrees. Will it hold 90 degrees? 135?

A: You should be able to adjust the gooseneck to hold at any angle. The clutch assembly for the Audix MB5050 MicroBoom System 50" Gooseneck Condenser Microphone allows for total control over the angle, rotation and position of the carbon fiber rod.

Q: 3. do these rings fit the G4?

A: Yes they do fit the G4 system

Q: 4. Can i plug this mic directly into my camcorder using the xlr adapter to record depositions or interviews?

A: You can use the Samson LM8x Omnidirectional Lavalier Microphone with the included cable that has a locking 3.5mm TRS connector, then attach the RODE VXLR+ 3.5mm TRS Female to XLR Male Adapter with Phantom Power Converter (B&H # ROVXLRP). The VXLR+ will allow you to connect to an XLR input and use 48V phantom power to provide voltage for the microphone. The VXLR+ will convert 48V down to the appropriate amount of plug-in power that the mic requires. We do also have lavalier mics that already have an XLR connector that can be connected directly to a camcorder, without the need for adapters, that are priced in the same range as the the LM8x. We have the MXL FR-355K Lavalier Interview Microphone Kit (B&H # MXFR355K), which includes both an omnidirectional and a cardioid lavalier mic, the Movo Photo LV4 Cardioid and Omnidirectional Lavalier Condenser Microphone Set (B&H # MOLV4) and the Movo Photo LV4-O2 Omnidirectional Lavalier Microphone with XLR Connector - Pair (B&H # MOLV4O2), the BOYA BY-M40D Omnidirectional Lavalier Microphone (B&H # BOBYM4OD), and the BOYA BY-M4C Cardioid Lavalier Microphone (B&H # BOBYM4C), as well as many others. Please feel free to contact us by phone or through live chat and we will be happy to help you to find the best options for your application and budget.

Q: 5. How to install the rings on the mic?

A: They just snap on and off. Gently pull the old ring off with fingernail and snap new one on.

Q: 6. Will this work with shure wireless mic packs?

A: Yes, the Samson SE10x Omnidirectional Earset Microphone for Wireless Transmitters includes four cables with different connectors that enable compatibility with the most popular wireless transmitters. The cable with the TA4F connector (4-pin mini-XLR) allows for connection to Shure wireless bodypack transmitters.

Q: 7. As this mic had a battery powered power supply, can I use this with my Sony PCM D100 with a converter cable? If yes could you please recommend a cable please.

A: This mic requires connection to a device that supplies phantom power via XLR.

Q: 8. Will it fit a sennheiser AVX transmitter? Has anyone tried to do this? I can't find anything else that will protect my transmitter when my talent drops in on a hard surface.

A: You could use the Remote Audio URSA Pouch for Wireless Transmitters - Large, Black (B&H # REUPOUCHLABL) which is also available in beige. The transmitter is 3.9" (100mm) high when measuring to the top of the antenna, 2.6" (65mm) across, and 0.94" (24mm) deep. The URSA Pouch is 3.9 x 3.1" (99 x 78mm). The On-Stage MA1435 Wireless Transmitter Body Pack Belt (B&H # ONMA1435) could also work. The pouch is 3.5 x 3 x 1" (89 x 25 x 76mm) so the antenna would stick out, which is how many wireless transmitter pouches are designed.

[2:1] So far I have only used these in a piano recording, but they is by far the best piano mics I have used. My prior experience with mic'ing a piano was with a AKG C414, which is a great and versatile mic. These are much better, at least for this purpose.

[45 Hz to 18 kHz] I have been a sound engineer for about 30 years. I have used all the kickdrum mikes in the marked that is worth to mention. When I first discovered the D6 a couple of years ago I knew this is it. This is the mike I have been looking for all these years. Its no longer needed to use two mikes for the kick as I used to, one for the deep and one for the click. This mike got both. I use it both in the studio and live. Its a hit.

[522 to 554 MHz] I watched many microphone reviews and shootouts, many drummers and engineers recommended it. I had the opportunity to purchase less expensive mics new and used but I purchased the Audix D6 and I am SUPER PLEASED at the sound. Not muddy but has great low end and has that punch! U need this in your life!

[32 kHz] I have used the D6 on 3 shows with many more to come. It does just what it was designed to do. 6 to 8 inches away from the beater head in line with the beaters. It has made a great difference in our sound and has surprised a few sound guys who are fans of other mikes. I have no complaints. It is easy to use as you have very little adjustments on the mixing board
