Related Questions and Answers

Q: 1. How does this interface with a Smartphone?

A: There is an included TRRS output cable that you could connect to the headphone jack ( or headphone jack adapter) of your smartphone. This would allow for recording into the phone.

Q: 2. can you mute from the transmitter?

A: Yes, the Polsen UWM-2 transmitters have a mute button.

Q: 3. Are there other frequency range units available?

A: I'm sorry, but that system is only available within one frequency range. For more available ranges, I would recommend considering the more professional EW 100 G4 systems, like these: https://bhpho.to/3a3qpaM

Q: 4. This manual says it is compatible with rechargeable batteries. Will lithium batteries work?

A: Any AA battery will work with this kit.

Q: 6. Hi there, my question is, how to connect these to speakers? Jeffri

A: The Audix DN4 Dante AES67 Integrated Microphone System Interface BH #AUDN4 will connect to an amplifier/DSP with AES67 Dante connections.

Q: 7. Will this work with sennheiser receivers on the same frequency?

A: Unfortunately not, Senal AWS-2000P-B Plug-On Transmitter for AWS-2000 Wireless System is not compatible with Sennheiser receivers.

Q: 8. If I bought 2 of these, could I run all 4 mics simultaneously without frequency interference?

A: Yes, you can run up to 10 transmitters at the same time with these systems.

Q: 9. Is the 538 to 586 Mhz band legal in the US, and does it require a license?

A: The 538 to 586 MHz used by the Polsen UWM-2 2-Person Camera-Mount Wireless Omni Lavalier Microphone System is legal for unlicensed use in the United States and North America.

Q: 10. Is there a more discrete microphone that can be used with this?

A: Yes, you can use a headset or lavalier microphone that is wired for use with a Sennheiser transmitter such as the Galaxy Audio HSM3 Dual-Ear Headset Microphone with 4 Cables (B&H # GAHS3OBG4MXD) or Samson DE10x Omnidirectional Miniature Headset Microphone for Wireless Transmitters (B&H # SADE10X). Both the Galaxy Audio and Samson mics include four detachable adapter cables with the following connectors: locking 3.5mm, Hirose 4-pin, TA3F, and TA4F. The cables with locking 3.5mm connectors are compatible for use with Sennheiser transmitters. These are just two examples. We do have other options. [2:1] The D-6 is such a good Mic for the Kick drum and is very easy to make sound good with very little Eqing. Hard to beat for the money

[32 kHz] This is exactly what we were looking for. Great price and quality for our needs.

[45 Hz to 18 kHz] I have used the D6 on 3 shows with many more to come. It does just what it was designed to do. 6 to 8 inches away from the beater head in line with the beaters. It has made a great difference in our sound and has surprised a few sound guys who are fans of other mikes. I have no complaints. It is easy to use as you have very little adjustments on the mixing board

[Up to 16] Mobile DJ since 2001. Previous owner of Shure and Sennheiser systems.

Have used Audix R61 receivers weekly (mostly at weddings) since early 2017, they are rock solid units! TRUE DIVERSITY (dual tuners) indeed! Have not had a SINGLE signal drop out indoors or outdoors, (64MHz frequency band is awesome) even in the super busy RF environment of Southern California. We typically use 2-3 units at the same time. The range is outstanding also, we are often about 100 ft away (advertises a huge 450 ft range, haven't had to do that..) and with up to 200 guests between receiver and bodypacks, still no issues.

Very easy setup, and has great features like locking the transmitter so no accidental 'mutes' occur. R61 has a massive amount of tunable frequencies if you need them. The construction is metal and quite solid. Shure and Sennheiser rule the mobile DJ world of wireless, but after speaking with Audix at NAMM 2017, I went with their system and have not looked back. I have since had two other colleagues see/hear the system, and although they were lifetime Shure users, bought an Audix 60 series system. The few reviews you will find rave about them as well. I think it is the current sleeper system that doesn't get a lot of attention, but performs extremely well. Highly recommend.

The only downside is the R61 receivers, and the 60 series in general, are of course more expensive than the '40' series, and not typically in stock...anywhere. It takes a few extra days to get to you but it is worth the wait to ensure perfect events, especially wedding ceremonies, with rock solid signal thanks to the true diversity dual tuners.

[45 Hz to 18 kHz] I watched many microphone reviews and shootouts, many drummers and engineers recommended it. I had the opportunity to purchase less expensive mics new and used but I purchased the Audix D6 and I am SUPER PLEASED at the sound. Not muddy but has great low end and has that punch! U need this in your life!

[554 to 586 MHz] We compared it with several brands and chose the Audix D6 because its capture was the most real and pure.

[32 MHz] I host a radio talk show and use this for recorded interviews. It's a quality system for a reasonable price.

[32 kHz] I have been a sound engineer for about 30 years. I have used all the kickdrum mikes in the marked that is worth to mention. When I first discovered the D6 a couple of years ago I knew this is it. This is the mike I have been looking for all these years. Its no longer needed to use two mikes for the kick as I used to, one for the deep and one for the click. This mike got both. I use it both in the studio and live. Its a hit.
