Cut a variety of flexible materials up to 78.7 mil thick at 73" long with the Rotatrim DigiTech+ DT1850 Paper Trimmerfrom Rotatrim. It features a self-sharpening blade along with a self-lifting clamp mechanism for users to easily position and cut large materials. Also, it has reduced spring pressure for a lighter cutting action as well as a single square stainless steel guide rail to eliminate head swivel. A: This cut can work with mat board up to 3mm thick.

Q: 4. Has the problem of the grid markings wearing off been corrected in the new (presumably the "Pro" series)? Is the "Pro" series the same basic construction as the "Mastercut" series?

A: I have the Pro model now for years and have no personally issues with the grid coming off. And the pro model has a manufacture’s Limited 5-Year Warranty.

A: Yes, The following unit is a full cutting head replacement.

Q: 6. can this cut 310 gsm paper?

A: Yes, the Rotatrim Pro Series 30 Paper Cutter / Rotary Trimmer can trim up to 3mm thick paper. And 310 GSM there is no solid version to mm but it should be thinner in most types of papers than 3mm.

Q: 7. HI , THIS TRRIMMER CAN CUT ALUMINIUM SUBSTRATE FOR SUBLIMATE?

A: According to the manufacturer, this trimmer is capable of cutting aluminum up to 0.5mm thick.

Q: 9. The RCB100 pictured on Rotatrim's website has two holes, for the dual rails. This seems to be meant for the monorail systems. Are you positive this is the right product number?

A: The MFR # on this is incorrect, the RCB100 is in fact the head for a double rail system.

Q: 10. How difficult is it to temporarily remove the sliding black side guide?

A: Temporarily removing the black side guide of the Rotatrim Pro Series 24" Paper Cutter / Rotary Trimmer requires some attention to detail, but is not very difficult.

[Aluminum] I bought this to trim my 8.5 x 11 inch photo paper down to 8x10 inches (since nobody makes that anymore) and is very accurate. Heavy, too. Very high quality. 5

[51 x 17 x 7.5"] I didn't know what I was missing all these years getting along with guillotine trimmers. This thing is fantastic! Super well made, square, slides through paper and laminate with ease. In fact, it's just fun to use. I am mainly trimming 5 mil and 10 mil laminate sheets, and it does so very cleanly, with little effort. It can cut very narrow strips. It never folds down the edge of the laminate like a guillotine trimmer sometimes does. And it is easy to view the edge I am cutting. Love it. 5

[51 x 17 x 7.5"] I am a paper crafter and have to cut paper daily (I teach classes, sell items, and gift items). I have been using popular brands of paper trimmers found in craft stores. When my latest one broke, I decided to upgrade in hopes I would find a better, more durable cutter. I cannot review it's durability yet, but the few days that I've had it has really impressed me. It cuts through my cardstock like butter. I don't have to push down on the blade assembly at all. I'm also super excited that my paper/cardstock doesn't have to be angled to get it to cut square. The trimmers I've been using by Fiskars did not have level grids, so my cuts weren't square unless I angled my paper a bit. I was told that it was my cardstock, but now I know better. I also appreciate the fact that Rotatrim is honest in respect to its self-sharpening blade. They do need to be replaced eventually, so they sell replacement blades. All in all - I'm thinking I have found a great trimmer that will stand up to my crafting. It is heavier and larger than my other cutters, but that makes me feel it is built well. 5
