Snypex 10x50 Knight D-ED Binoculars for Enhanced Viewingimproved on the design of their top-tier line to produce the 10x50 Knight D-ED Binoculars. They upgraded their eyepiece lens configuration to 5-groups, 6-elements, and the objective to 4-groups/5-elements to improve the optical quality and overall image brightness. Complementing this improvement is the use of large oversized objectives made of fully multi-coated extra low-dispersion glass, and dielectric-coated phase-correcting BAK4 prisms. These technologies work together to produce bright and clear images with accurate color rendition across the entire field of view without distortion. This iteration is made with a powerful 10x magnification and 50mm objectives to give them broad usage in all lighting conditions from pre-dawn to dusk, and a short 3.9' close focus distance that allows users to make detailed observations of either distant objects or close subjects, depending on their interests.
The Knight's open-bridge design helps to reduce weight without sacrificing strength, and provides a large surface area to hold, even with the compact housing. Rubber armoring gives protection from drops and impacts while helping to provide a non-slip grip. Designed for durability, the lightweight magnes um/aluminum alloy housing is nitrogen-filled and O-ring sealed for fogproof performance and makes them submersible. Twist-up eyecups provide a custom-fit eye relief for use with or without eye-wear.

Related Questions and Answers
Q: 1. Are these binoculars okay for eyeglass wearers?
A: Yes they are. These binoculars have fold-down rubber eyecups for easy use with or without eye wear.
Q: 2. Does this come with case?
A: No it does not include a case.
Q: 3. What is the difference between the SP and SP WP version of the same binoculars ?
A: The SP Version has a wider angle of view with the same Magnification as the SP WP. Plus the SP has a Eye Relief of 13mm, and the SP WP has a much more comfortable Eye relief of 20mm.
Q: 4. What are the differences between this item MFR #131056 & MFR #131056C?
A: The 131056C is a discontinued model no longer available. It was replaced by the 131056
Q: 5. Hello between this Konus 10x50 and Vanguard 10x50 VEO ED What is more easy to use for person with eyeglass.
A: The Vanguard 10x50 VEO ED Binoculars have a larger eye relief than the Konus, so the Vanguard 10x50 VEO ED Binoculars are easier to use when wearing eyeglasses.
Q: 6. I purchased a pair of 10x50 Celestron Nature DX ED binoculars and the Celestron Binocular Tripod Adapter. It is not obvious how to connect them, since each of these has a male 1/4-20 screw. There is not a female-to-female adapter to connect them, except for a very thin nut, which may or may not be 1/4-20 (it is very loose on the male threads). Is there a more detailed diagram showing how to mount the binoculars on the tripod adapter?
A: I figured out the problem. The logo cap that is described in the manual is firmly attached to the binocular's female threaded screw. Thus, when I tried to remove the logo cap the female threaded screw was coming off with the logo cap. Once I was able to separate the logo cap from the female threaded screw (with quite a bit of effort), I was able to thread the screw back onto the binoculars, allowing the tripod mount to be attached. Unfortunately the manuals provided by Celestron don't show enough detail for the user to see what the female threaded screw should look like.
Q: 7. water resistant?
A: The Nikon 10x50 Aculon A211 Binoculars BH #NI10X50A211 • MFR #8248 are not water resistant, waterproof or fogproof.
Q: 8. is it safe around water?
A: Hello,My experience with this binoculars has been very satisfactory. I would recommend it without hesitation. But to tell you the truth, have not tested with wter.best regard
Q: 9. What type of prism used here- BK7 or BAK-4
A: Looks like BK7 to me.
Q: 10. What are the dimensions, weight?
A: Already measured so here goes anyway. Check against specs. Weight in very protective transport case is 1#14.5 oz and without case but with caps and neckstrap the weight is 14.5 oz. Case measurements are 5-3/4 by 5-1/4 by 2-1/4 deep.
