Snypex 10x32 Knight D-ED Binoculars for Saleimproved on the design of their top-tier line to produce these 10x32 Knight D-ED Binoculars. They upgraded their eyepiece and objective lens configuration to 5-elements in four groups for both improved optical quality and overall image brightness. Complementing this improvement is the use of fully multi-coated extra low-dispersion glass, and dielectric-coated phase-correcting BAK4 prisms. These technologies work together to produce bright and clear images with accurate color rendition across the entire field of view without distortion. This iteration is made with a powerful 10x magnification and a short close focus distance that allows users to make detailed observations of either distant objects or close subjects, depending on their interests.

The Knight's open-bridge design helps to reduce weight without sacrificing strength, and provides a large surface area to hold, even with the compact housing. Rubber armoring gives protection from drops and impacts while helping to provide a non-slip grip. Designed for durability, the lightweight fiberglass-reinforced polycarbonate housing is nitrogen-filled and O-ring sealed for fogproof performance and makes them submersible. Twist-up eyecups provide a custom-fit eye relief for use with or without eye-wear.

Q: 1. Which is better TRAILSEEKER 10X32 or 8X32 BINOCULARS?

A: Both TrailSeeker model are ideal to own based on your needs. If you require higher magnification, choose the 10x32 model. If you require a closer near focus for bird watching for example, then choose the 8x32 model.

Q: 2. Will the forehead rest be an option for this model?

A: There is not a forehead rest that is compatible with the Swarovski 10x32 AX Visio Binoculars at this time.

Q: 3. Thanks. But I still don't know the difference between "apparent'" and "actual" angle of view for comparison to Snypex 10x32. ?

A: The apparent angle of view is what it looks like through your binoculars: as if you were (in the case of the Opticron 10x32 Discovery WA ED Binoculars) 10 times (10x) closer to the object. The field of view measures the same thing in concrete terms, as 318' @ 1000 yd--the width of the view at 1000 yards distance.

Q: 4. What are the dimensions, weight?

A: Already measured so here goes anyway. Check against specs. Weight in very protective transport case is 1#14.5 oz and without case but with caps and neckstrap the weight is 14.5 oz. Case measurements are 5-3/4 by 5-1/4 by 2-1/4 deep.

Q: 5. What makes the "2017 edition" stand out in your advertising?

A: Newer type od coating in the elements and a newer type of prism designed

Q: 6. Are these binoculars made in Germany or Portugal?

A: These are not the same quality of the German made Trinovid in the old times. The Portugal copy of this renovated product line is performing at best as a $250-$500 bino from other manufacturers. If you are from a $100 bino this will for sure amaze you, but definitely not for someone own quite a few Leica optics. Just be aware...

Q: 7. Does the 32 come with a case? The 42 comes with a case so I don't see why this one wouldn't...

A: The TERRA ED 32 and 42 binoculars come with a rugged carrying strap, microfiber cloth and tough Cordura bag.A hard case is optional, and available from ZEISS authorized dealers.

Q: 8. I HAVE A BAIR OF ZEISS 10X42 T-FL BINOCULARS. THE EYE PECE THAT IS USED TO ADJUST USE WITH OR WITHOUT GLASSES HAS FALLEN OUT AND IS LOST. HOW CAN I REPLACE IT ?

[32 mm] Super HD clarity, great glass gathers light extremely well. Love them. A joy to look through. Compare this quality at twice the price.

[10x] I lost my trusty Zeiss 10X42 Terras one night getting into a skiff on an exposed rocky beach during a full moon minus tide shoot. They were superb, and were actually a second brand new updated model in place of my original which i’d sent in for repair after a long drop off a cliff. (For free, because that’s Zeiss.)

What i didnt realize until getting their smaller objective diameter model was there was no appreciable difference (for my purposes) in optical performance between the 10X42mm and the 10X32mm except weight and size.

Same performance but a smaller and lighter package hanging from my neck all day? YEAH, I’ll take THAT one (in a heartbeat!) Exit Pupils notwithstanding, I find there’s no meaningful difference in most viewing conditions.

[17.5 mm] We purchased this spotting scope and a small tripod to watch wildlife and ship traffic around us. Our purchase has not disappointed us, particularly at B&H's prices.

[Roof (BAK4)] These bins are a nice compact size, a bit larger than 25mm bins so easy to hold but still much more packable than most 42s. I was torn over which magnification to buy but have no regrets in choosing the 10x. The FOV of these 10x is about the same as many other 8x so I’m finding they’re fine for birding and no issue with jiggling. The eye relief works fine for my eyes with glasses on and the view is certainly bright, sharp, and clear throughout. Overall very pleased.

[17.5 mm] I took the Snypex Knight D-ED on a safari in Africa to observe wildlife, both from a 4x4 and on foot. The image is nice and sharp, focusing is fast and precise, and with the open frame the binocular is easy to hold. The reason I got this model is that at 380 grams / 13.4 oz it's the lightest 8x32 binocular available. On longer walks, the low weight is great! In the 4x4, I also took along the excellent 10x42 Nikon Monarch 7. During the day, the Snypex was just as bright and sharp, only when it got dark was the image of the much heavier (670 gram / 23.6 oz) Nikon brighter. If you're looking for a lightweight 8x32 with good optics, get the Snypex! My only (small) gripe is that the front lens covers are difficult to attach.

[10x] Better than I had hoped. Stabilizer better than my early 10x42 L IS 6.5 and lighter.

[17.5 mm] I can't imagine seeing any clearer in a 10X32 binocular than these Terra ED's. The diopter adjustment seems rather stiff but that's actually good...They'll stay in focus for me. My wife has a pair of Vortex 8X32 (very nice binocs) but these things are amazing. I wanted the extra reach of a 10 power and really happy with my choice. The field of view is pretty impressive for this magnification. These size between a full size and a compact and are very easy to carry. The build quality is...well German. Need I say more? I hunted relentlessly before deciding on the Zeiss. I couldn't be happier. And B&H is a great place to shop.
