Wimberley has a system of flash bracket components that are modular, versatile and easily stowed in a small space when not in use.  Known as the Shape-Shifter Modular Flash Bracket System, the components connect without tools.  None of the combinations slip, twist or creep-even during intense action.  They're integrated with the venerable Arca-Swiss type quick release system, now dominant as the industry standard for macro and telephoto shooting.

Wimberley F-1 Telephoto Flash Bracketis ideal to use with a lens equipped with a tripod collar (with an Arca-type plate length appropriate to the size of the lens attached) and with the addition of the Module 8 perpendicular plate, you can use it with a camera as well.  With Module 1 you have the ability to adjust the vertical distance between flash and lens, as well as the ability to put the flash off-center from the lens.  As with all of the Wimberley Shape Shifter components, and unlike other manufacturer's products, the parts are captive to prevent detachment from accidentally unscrewing them too far while in the field.

[0.65 lb] I use this flash bracket for bird photography and with my Wimberley Sidekick. As with all Wimberley products, the Combo 1 flashh bracket is well made and based on the Arca-Swiss system. I would not hesitate to recommend this bracket to any potential purchaser.

[0.65 lb] Bought it so I could get a real modular and adaptable flash bracket. Combined with other components, it does what no other bracket do, from macro to portrait to flash flip to long lenses remote and whether hand held or tripod mounted. It is a bit pricey but it has unsurpassed fit quality and crafstmanship.

[0.65 lb] I bought this bracket for telephoto flash bird photography. A major I chose this particular item is that the piece that attaches to the lens foot of my telephoto(s) is reversible, that is, it can be mounted with the Arca-type clamp jaws facing up or down, which makes it fit onto just about any lens foot. The build quality is up to the usual high Wimberley standards. Yes, it is expensive, but it's an item that will last longer than I will, most likely :-). It's also nice to buy gear that is made in the U.S.A., at least sometimes.

[0.65 lb] It holds 6-7 cards plus 4-5 notes. Easy to access any card you need while keeping the overall thickness very low. Like the design.

[0.65 lb] An excellent product - light and solid as a rock. This bracket can be folded up to take up minimal space in the camera bag.

There are numerous attachments available to make it suitable for many specialized uses, from Macro photography to shooting from a blind.

It is expensive, but is highly recommended.

[0.65 lb] Will use this for bird photography with a flash. Very configurable with my Wimberley head. I liked my Wimberley WH-200 Gimbal Tripod Head have used for 1 year now) that I figured the flash bracket would be great also. Has not disappointed me.

[0.65 lb] Lets me add fill light for birds perching in shade at some distance with an RF 100-500, EOS R6 II and 430 EXIII RT. Using the Canon ST-E10 saves the bulk, expense and inconvenience of a hot shoe cable. I'm happy to get the Speedlite off the hotshoe with only a net gain of 11 ounces to my rig. And since the Speedlite is centered, balancing the rig on the ball head is no problem. Thank you B&H for your quick response to my question if the F-1 was compatible with this rig. It is in spades.
