[2 x Input trays] [This review was collected as part of a promotion.] This printer is amazing! It prints flawlessly. I didn't really understand the differences in printers. Laser vs inkjet vs tank. This is by far the best printer I've owned. The clarity in the printing is excellent. I run a small business and I print daily. The ink hasn't moved.

[Yes] I print out 82 page catalogs on 20lb paper. It is fast, will let you load 500 sheets of paper and has big ink tanks. I recommend it.

[Inkjet] Purchased based on reviews and cost per page. Setup went smoothly, including wireless connectivity. Prints nicely.

[Inkjet] The Canon Maxify MB2120 is a terrific printer at a reasonable price. It was snap to set up with my iMac - total time from unboxed to printing was less than 10 minutes. The self-feeding scan/copy tray works perfectly and quickly. The printer is a bit bulky, but well worth the space it takes up,

[1200 x 600 dpi] I bought this printer for my small product-based business. Granted, it replaced a 17-year-old consumer HP printer but I can already tell this thing is going to be a huge workhorse for my business. I print paper documents through the cassette and water-resistant product labels and shipping labels through the back tray. All print well and text and images are sharp. The huge ink reservoir is well designed and means I can print 1000s of pages without a refill. It was easy to set up and get on the network.


My only critique is the print software. It likes to default to things I do not want like duplexing or pulling from the wrong tray. Sometimes, I have to work through the Google print dialog, the printer dialog, and then the advanced printer dialog in a single session to get it to do what I want (pull from the rear tray, print black and white, and no duplexing). Needless to say, all these dialogs do not always work seamlessly with each other.


Despite that, I can see this printer adding a ton of value to my business so I'm very happy I made the investment.

[2 x Input trays] [This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Setup for this printer was intuitive – no issues downloading the drivers and getting it to connect with my (Dell) laptop wirelessly. I've had issues connecting wirelessly to other printers in the past, so I was really pleased that I didn't have to spend any time troubleshooting that. The color print comes out vivid, bright, with no bleeding. The first time I tried to print, I accidentally selected a photo that was larger than the paper size loaded. I received an error message on the printer and it was immediately obvious what I’d done wrong – so it’s nice that addressing and fixing my user error was a totally painless process. I appreciate the relatively small size, as my home office is tiny, so it’s nice when the technology I need doesn’t take up too much space. I also love that the ink cartridges can be individually refilled - less cost and also less waste. I really appreciate when companies like Canon create products with environmental responsibility in mind. Overall, if you're looking for a high quality, cost-effective and planet-friendly small office printer, I would highly recommend this one.

[Yes] This printer is a workhorse for our business. It prints all day on a double sided photo paper without any issues and is also very economical on ink usage.

[26.5 lb] My Epson Workforce 30, just died. I couldn't start up the printer, no matter where which outlet I plugged it into. I had it for about 8 years. I didn't use it often, yet it felt it was time to stop working.

I tried to find a compatible Epson printer, but Epson wanted too much money for their single function printer, compared to the Canon MAXIFY iB4120.

In addition, the Canon MAXIFY iB4120 holds 2.75 times more paper than the Epson Workforce 30. And the Canon MAXIFY iB4120 has duplex printing. This printer is considered a single function printer, yet it offers more features than the Epson Workforce 30, and it cost less than the Epson Workforce 30.

It is worth the money. I have found the Canon printers, both wide professional and office printers to be exceptional printers. No issues with ink clogging, even when not in frequent use. The quality is equal to or better than Epson.
