The BP 350 holds a compact or professional DSLR camera body and 3-4 lenses in a lower compartment that can be easily retrieved through a body-side access point while the bag is being carried. Related Questions and Answers

Q: 1. Are all the internal paddings removable? Can the top compartment open up and turn it into one large storage compartment like a normal backpack?

A: Yes, and yes. It's a bit of a hassle though if you convert between a camera bag and a normal backpack often. Reason is, you have to remove all of the lower compartment padding, which is attached via Velcro, then remove the divider in between the top and lower compartments and fold it in. Then once you're done and want to use it as a camera bag, you have to reinstall everything in the same configuration you had it in before to fit your body and lenses. If the bottom compartment was a pullout separated padded bag, it would have been way faster and more convenient.

Q: 2. Can this 350 version bagpack fit a Canon R5 body with 24-70 f2.8L attached and a 70-200 f4 L on the side?

A: Yes, you can carry a Canon R5 with a 24-70mm f/2.8 and a 70-200mm f/4 lens in the Lowepro Flipside Trek BP 350 AW Backpack (Gray/Dark Green).

Q: 3. Will the 350 be allowed on most airline carry-on?What about the 450?

A: Both will work fine for domestic and international flights.

Q: 4. Does it have a water bladder pocket?

A: The Lowepro Flipside Trek BP 350 AW Backpack doesn't have water bladder pocket.

Q: 5. Will my Canon T5i with attached battery grip and 80-200mm lens fit in this backpack, with room for other lenses?

A: Yes it will. It snug, but will fit the camera with the battery pack attached. Lens will fit no problem.

Q: 6. Two Qs: Are there pockets on the waist belt? Between the Flipside Trek BP 350 AW and Photo Sport BP 300 AW II which has more room outside of the camera gear compartment for non-camera gear items?

A: Yes there is pockets on both side. I don't know the sport BP but can tell you that the trek has plenty enough space. I was very please with how much I could fit. The top compartment is ideal for food, shirt, glass and all item of a certain size. It's big as a medium lunch box. You also have space where you fit the tablet. It's a SL but deep zone. Both have also zipped pocket

Q: 7. I need to buy this pack and not the 450aw due to certain airline strict carry-on policy. My question is will the camera section hold: Canon 7dMark ii with 70-200f4 attached with hood, plus 24-105 with hood, plus tokina 11-16 2.8 with hood?

A: No way a 70-200 will fit in the actual padded area. Maybe if you put it in a separate padded pouch in the front pocket but even then you'd struggle fitting the other stuff. It's a very small bag.

Q: 8. With nikonD750plus 200to500lens which bag when all together will hold camera and lens attached to each other?

A: This case. Lowepro Flipside Trek BP 350 AW Backpack (Gray/Dark Green) B&H # LOFTBP350AWB MFR # LP37015 is unfortunately not long enough to accommodate a Nikon D750 and the Nikon 200-500 AF-S 200-500mm f/5.6E ED VR LENS.

Q: 9. Will the Flipside Trek BP 350 hold a Canon 7D Mk ii with a 100-400 4.5-5.6 L IS II attached?

A: Unfortunately no, the camera with the lens attached will be a little more than a half inch longer than the length of the interior compartment.

Q: 10. Can the 350 version fit a canon sl2 with 10-22mm f/3.5-4.5 USM, 70-300mm f/4-5.6 IS II USM, 50mm f/1.8, 18-135mm f/3.5-5.6 IS USM, and accessories?

A: I was able to fit a Canon 5D Mark III, EF 70-300mm f/4-5.6 IS II USM, EF 16-35mm f/4L IS USM, Sigma 50mm f1.4 Art, Rokinon 20mm f/1.8 on the bottom compartment. Top compartment is spacious enough for accessories such as square filters, charger, intervalometer/remote, headlamp, etc.Your gear should fit, considering thay your camera and lenses are smaller in size.

[Zipper] An amazing everyday pack. Right mix of gear storage and personal storage. The straps help where the internal storage is small. Easily fits a Sony full frame with 28-70mm and 100-400mm sigma lens, two filter kits for the separate lenses in the camera storage. Side pockets big enough to fit a 32oz Nalgene. I wish the pockets were a little bigger inside for cables and such but that's forgivable. Overall, this is a great pack for quick hikes and every day use.

[Yes] I did lots of research years ago before purchasing this bag at double the price you can get it today. My criteria included: the bag must be light to begin with, it should have a compartment on top for passports, accessories, drone or headset and all items must be easily accessible whether on a hike or before placing the bag in an overhead. The main compartment should have enough space for my Canon Mark IV (now the R5) and three lenses, flash and filters. I also needed to fit my MacBook Pro 13 (now 14) and an 11 iPad. Everything fits perfectly and there is so much room for other accessories. There is also a rain cover built in. I've used it on numerous trips overseas and its in mint condition and nothing has torn or ripped. The only issue - with any bag- is that the more you pack the heavier the load. That's why I needed a bag that was light. I've seen other bags from Lowepro that are larger and maybe look better and invite you to load it with lots of gear! If you are in great shape and want to travel with lots of gear on your back- go for it. Otherwise- this is a great backpack for both mirrorless and regular DSLR.

[Zipper] I have many bags but none of them seemed to be right for an upcoming trip where I wanted to comfortable carry my Olympus ODM M1 Markll mirrorless with attached 12-100 f4 PRO zoom, two f1.2 PRO primes and a standby Lumix LX100. This along with EDC things I might need on the go (water bottle, rain jacket, first aid kit, assortment of comfort items and mini tools, etc). So I searched. Several bags I own and many that I researched came close but I found this one and it seemed to fit all my criteria: 1. Smaller/streamlined (at first I thought about the 150 but after measuring the 350 seemed right, 2. Good shoulder padding and padded waist belt to comfortably hold the majority of the load, 3. Secure openings especially for the camera gear, 4. Ample room and reasonable access to my gear, 5. Ample room and easy access for non camera gear, 6. Durably made, 7. Easy rain cover deployment, 8. Lots of straps and molle strips to hang stuff if needed, 9. Good organization of pockets and compartments, 10. Good looking, 11. Reasonably priced. So I took the plunge and bought yet another camera bag. B&H expedited shipment and I received in just a few days. So far I’m very satisfied and can’t wait to deploy it.. My only concern, albeit minor and perhaps unfounded, is the waist belt buckle. It does not seem to be as robust as it could be, as the rest of the bag’s buckles, zippers and straps seem to be. Time will tell.

[Gray] This has been a welcome addition to my camera gear.  Well designed with just enough space while not being overly large.  Well thought out and easy to access.Very comfortable for day use.

[Zipper] Great photo backpack, got 250 and 350 (for my wife and myself). Hard to find a backpack that allows to carry two water bottles for longer hikes.
