Related Questions and Answers

Q: 1. Would this fit the Canon EF 100-400 is mark II?

A: Yes this Canon ERC-E5M Rain Cover can work with the Canon EF 100-400mm IS Mark II lens.

Q: 2. What size Canon rain cover should I get for a 5D Mark III and 300mm f/4L IS USM lens combo? Would Large work?

A: The Canon ERC-E5L Rain Cover (Large) would be to large for the Canon EOS 5D Mark III DSLR Camera with the Canon EF 300mm f/4L IS USM Lens. The recommended cover for that setup is the Canon ERC-E5S Rain Cover (Small), BH #CAERCE5S (https://bhpho.to/4abP8Hv).

Q: 3. Can this be used with R5,R6?

A: The eyepiece on the rain cover will not fit EOS mirrorless cameras such as the R5, but the rain cover will still fit around the mirrorless cameras using the integrated hook-and-loop closures.

Q: 4. Will this rain cover fit a Canon R3 and EF 300mm?

A: The Canon ERC-E5M Rain Cover (Medium) is to small for the Canon R3 and the EF 300mm f/2,8 lens and lens adapter. And note there is no lens eye cup made that works with it and the R3.

Q: 5. I have a Canon DSL 70D, two lens, 18x135 and 100x400What size do I need. I live in AZ so don't have a lot of call for rain but the light flimsy one don't work well. I need to step up but still don't want to invest a lot. what do you recommend?

A: The small size Canon rain cover should work great on your combination. I use this cover with the Canon 7D II and 100-400mm II zoom lens attached. There is an eye adaptor part included in case you need to adapt your viewfinder to enable the rain cover to attach securely.

Q: 6. Will this fit a 5DMk4 and a 70-200mm zoom with hood?

A: Yes, the Canon ERC-E5M Rain Cover (Medium) is a good size for the 5DMk4 and a 70-200mm zoom with hood.

Q: 7. Hi! Will this fit a Canon 90 D with a 100-400 lens? Thank you!

A: While it would be much larger than needed for your camera/lens combination, if you own the larger Canon EF 400mm f/2.8L IS II USM lens, the Canon EF 500mm f/4L IS II USM, lens, the Canon EF 600mm f/4L IS II USM lens, or the EF 800mm f/5.6L IS USM lens, and you wish to use the larger Canon ERC-E5L Rain Cover (Large) with your Canon EOS 90D DSLR Camera and your Canon EF 100-400mm f/4.5-5.6L IS II USM Lens, this setup would work for your usage needs. Otherwise, if the Canon EF 100-400mm f/4.5-5.6L IS II USM Lens is the largest lens you own, I would instead recommend the smaller Canon ERC-E5S Rain Cover (Small), B&H # CAERCE5S, for your usage needs. https://bhpho.to/3PRMwqj

Q: 8. Does the viewfinder part work just as well with a Canon R6?

A: The Canon cover will not fit but you can use this one from Porta Brace: https://bhpho.to/3vOzXQz

Q: 9. will this fit a canon T2i and a sigma 60-600mm sport lens?

A: Yes, the Canon ERC-E5S Rain Cover (Small) would be compatible for use with the Canon EOS Digital Rebel T2i DSLR Camera and the Sigma 60-600mm f/4.5-6.3 DG OS HSM Sports Lens for Nikon.

Q: 10. Any problem using the Large size with smaller lenses?

A: It works with:- 200mm 1.8/2.0- 300mm 2.8it dont works with- 70-200mm 2.8 - 100-400mm 4.5-5.6'cause the diameter of the lens hood is too small, the velcro don't fix.

[0.35 lb] Since Think Tank doesn't yet make an eyepiece to fit the R3 (as of the date of this post), this was a nice option. It just slides onto the flash shoe mount. Works well.

[Yes] Nicely designed. Very roomy. I would recommend the next size down for your typical 80-200 zoom.

[White] This worked great with a Canon RF 600 f4 lens. The velcro around the hood slipped just a little, but I think I could have made it a little tighter. Overall, I'm happy with it.

[0.35 lb] It fits my biggest lens a Sigma 120-300/2.8 on both my Nikon Z8 and D810. With the 2X TC and hood attached there is still over 8 inches of extra length.

I have not had a chance to use it in foul weather yet, but I have plenty or room for my hands underneath the cover to reach all the camera buttons and knobs. The bottom zipper is on no use for me because that lens is more than I can handhold and would always be on a tripod or monopod which prevent closing the zipper. There convenient clips to close the bottom opening around the the tripod foot of the lens.

[0.35 lb] Used in light rain and heavy rain while shooting for a car event. Stood in heavy rain without umbrella or any other coverage. Only used this on my lens 24-105mm and 70-200mm. Covered the lens and camera without them getting wet. Has enough room to be able to use the zoom on lenses unlike other camera. You will need to shoot in auto focus as there is no way to adjust the focus manually when using this cover (as same with all other rain covers). Another feature that is very important is that it has an attachment to fix in the view finder where the see through rain protector part is. This keeps the screen display in place to see all setting and easily change them without the rain cover falling over it. This is more expensive than other rain covers, but it is well worth the money since you can adjust the zoom and have the clear view part of the rain cover fixed on the screen

[0.35 lb] It's fairly easy to review a rain cover, so I'll just say this about it: It's very easy to install, it keeps the camera dry, and it's really easy to get back into the storage pouch once you're finished with it. Materials are of high quality, yet light-weight and easily carried in your pack. Folds up very small.

[White] This rain cover revealed itself as the go to rain cover for myself and all of the photographers around me that one Friday evening under the lights, and under the torrential downpour. Others were packing up their equipment before the end of the first quarter while I giggled and offered my medium version to a friend... he was ecstatic and ended up buying both the medium and the large. Our lenses were protected and dry as a bone when we disassembled the kit at the end of the game. I should not have to say any more. Think Tank knows rain! They get how it can destroy thousands of dollars of equipment in 10 minutes. They value our investments and it shows.

[0.35 lb] I purchased this rain cover to keep my Canon 300mm F2.8 L IS lens dry
It has a large plastic window in the rear so you can still see your controls and 2 viewfinder cups so it should fit any of your Canon bodies.
