[0.001 lb] This connector screws onto a mechanical cable release, and fits into a special quick release Linhof fixture on a Linhof Teknika lens board. It works perfectly!

[0.001 lb] Honestly a little expensive compared with no-name clamps, but for attaching a QD socket to an Arca rail, it's between this and the even-more-expensive RRS one (which was out of stock). The RRS version has gaps for a strap, which I could imagine using. This version seems okay and robust enough (I'm using it to add a safety secondary QD connector to an L plate in case I don't seat the main QD properly, or optionally to a lens foot), and being thin is useful for storage. It feels as though it could still be a little smaller (not least the knob) since it bulks out the camera and L-plate considerably. Still, if it saves my camera from a drop, it'll be worth it.

[0.001 lb] Nice that they have these hard to find, and easy to lose, parts in stock. I ordered 4 because they are notorious for getting lost when taking them off and on. These fit and operate perfectly. Two will stay permanently on cable releases and the other 2 will get tucked away as spares just in case. My order was filled immediately and arrived in a few days. Under current circumstances I couldn't be happier with the service. Thanks!

[0.001 lb] I use the Kirk sling strap and QR system for my 150-600 Sigma lens. This is a pretty heavy lens to carry so I wanted it off my neck and on my shoulder. It works so well that I wanted to use the sling for the camera even when I have another lens attached. I have a QR plate on the bottom of the camera all the time to attach to my tripod. So, this piece simply connects to the QR plate on the camera, regardless of what lens I have attached. Works like a charm. The main reason for getting the camera to my side instead of around my neck on my front is to allow me to carry my field glasses for birding. I couldn't do that before. This clamp solves that problem. Kirk products are outstanding.
