Designed as a compact, walk-around prime, the silver FUJIFILM XF 23mm f/2 R WR Lens Silverfrom FUJIFILM XF 23mm f/2 R WR Lens Silveris a versatile 35mm-equivalent lens characterized by its f/2 maximum aperture that strikes and ideal balance between portability and speed. The optical design features two aspherical elements to reduce distortion and spherical aberrations in order to produce greater sharpness and accurate rendering. A Super EBC coating is also used to control flare and ghosting for improved contrast and color fidelity when working in bright and backlit conditions. Complementing the optics is a stepping motor, along with an internal focusing design, which provides quick and especially quiet focusing performance. Additionally, the lens is weather-sealed to suit working in inclement conditions.

[9, Rounded] I used this on a Fujifilm XT3 the images were great. Small, light, quite, and sharp. I didn't find a problem fully open at f2 and up to f8. If you want the feel of a X100V but can't get your hands on it, this did it for me. 5

[43 mm (Front)] Great little lens, great build, perfect size for street work and bright enough at f/2. I originally owned this but changed over to a Fuji 16-55mm f/2.8 zoom. Also a nice kens, but I got tired of having that giant lump on the front of my camera. So, back to primes, and no regrets. 5

[f/2] On a road trip from home in Durango, CO to Denver, I decided to take only one lens with my Fujifilm X-Pro2. From my kit, I chose the 23mm f2. I left the other primes and a zoom at home, opting to apply some discipline to my shooting. As a retired pro photographer, and nearly 80, I still take my photography seriously and full of the joy of it. The weather coming home was dark and moody and this lens took full advantage of the dramatic landscapes. This lens is more versatile than I ever imagined. It is now my go-to travel lens. 5

[f/16] I really regretted selling my X100F because of the enjoyment I got out of its 23mm lens. When I looked back at pics I had taken, I noticed that many of my keepers were shot with that camera and lens combo. So, I had to get a 23mm f2 to go with my X-T5 and X-E4 and am now getting reacquainted with the joy of using it on my daily hikes. 5
