Distribute your SDI source to up to six displays for post-production, broadcast, studio, signage, medical, or other applications using this MuxLab 1x6 12G-SDI 4K Splitter UHDfrom MuxLab. The splitter allows you to distribute one SDI signal to up to six SDI displays. The splitter autodetects 12G-SDI, 6G-SDI, 3G-SDI, HD-SDI, and SD-SDI signals and automatically re-clocks your signal based on source and destination signal type.

Featuring one BNC input and six BNC outputs, the splitter supports resolutions up to UHD 4K60, 3840 x 2160. It supports up to eight channels of audio and can send an SD-SDI signal up to 1000', or a 12G-SDI signal up to 150' using cable rated RG-59 or better. LEDs on the front of the unit allow you to see the status of your SDI signals. The compact splitter is housed in a durable metal casing that includes connectors on the back for cable control, and it includes a 5 VDC power supply.

A: The MuxLab 1x2 UHD 4K DisplayPort Splitter does not support EDID. Unfortunately it would have to be tested to see if it was functional with your requirements. B&H does have a 30 day return period that would allow you to test it with your setup.

Q: 8. 1` long enough to reach the SDI port on the Komodo Camera, from a monitor mounted on top of a "top" handle?

A: 1' cables like the ShieldRock 12G-SDI BNC to BNC 4K UHD Cable (1') would likely be a little to short to work well in such a setup. A 1.5' cable or longer would be a better fit.

Q: 9. Can it output to 2 displays of different resolution? i.e. 4K + 1080p (downscaled)

A: This product will output the resolution you input in to it, up to UHD 4K. We are not aware of it being able to send out two different resolutions.

Q: 10. can I take 1 out put to TV and the other to a sound bar ?

A: The MuxLab 1x2 UHD 4K HDMI Splitter (B&H # MU100500) may be used with both a television and a sound bar simultaneously.

[0 to 90%] We've been using this to provide a direct feed to monitor from our RED Komodo when mounted to our vehicle rig and so far it's working exactly as it should. Have yet to try in Canadian cold winters but time will tell how it holds up in minus temperatures. Another positive is the flexibility of the cable itself in that it's not too rigid interfering with the gimbal motors. 5
