Q: 1. Does this ship rolled or folded? Is preparation required to remove wrinkles?

A: This background comes in a bag and is wrinkle free.

Q: 2. Is this material dense enough to use to black out light from large windows?

A: Funny you should ask because that's what I use mine for when it's not being used on a shoot. It doesn't do a perfect job of blocking 100% of the window light but it will definitely help reduce by at least 75%(my opinion). I'll see if there's a way to upload a picture.

Q: 3. Does anyone have an easy solution to combine 2 backgrounds, side by side, for continuity. We're using clamps, from behind, but the seam wrinkles. Hook and loop fasteners are not an option, they would tear the fabric. The Seam is in an open space off center from a support pole. Suggestions?

A: If you leave a half inch space in between each background, you can use 1 inch green tape to complete the link on both side and make a kinf of tape sandwich. that will hold everything with less wrinkles

A: It is 17.7" long.

Q: 5. Are the grommets on the 20 and 9 sides?

A: Grommets are only on the 9 sides, but theres three on each end. Worked for us because I mounted the grommets on one corner, ran it 20 across, mounted the other corner, and then clamped it in the middle of the 20 section.

A: The textured side is more commonly used.

A: The Itoya Midtown Bag Large Format Artwork Carrier (14 x 21", Black/Blue) is intended for prints and artwork pieces that are flat or thinner than canvases. It would not be an ideal carrier for multiple canvases.

A: The opening has clearance below the grommets to accept a pole 2 inches in diameter or less.

Q: 9. Will I be able to hang garlands, balloons, et for different set ups like I do with the seamless paper?

A: I suppose you can pin decorations like that to the backdrop, but I imagine making holes wouldn't be best for long term life of the product. Double face tape might work against the fabric. Of course the more you mess with it the messier it will get and you'll have to continue to wash it.
