A: The included 12V Universal Power Supply's plug is a 1 x 4-pin XLR port for external power or battery use. Pin 1 = Ground and Pin 4 = +12 V.

A: It is about 4 lines except when down converting which will be about a frame.

A: Yes it will work. I have about 125ft of sdi Cable running to a switcher it works fine.

Q: 9. can i use this converter from an hdmi viewfinder to sdi or the hdmi should be coming directly from the camera or the original source and not a loupe through??

A: Normally, you send the video out from the camera to the viewfinder, loop though the viewfinder to a transmitter or another monitor. If your monitor hasn't a loop through, you will have to get a signal splitter. If your camera and monitor have incompatible video connections, you can use the following devices to conveniently convert the signals.

Q: 10. I WANT TO USE MY LATOP'S HDMI OUTPUT AT MY PAL SD-SDI VIDEO SWITCHER ?

A: If you have PAL video on your computer, the Blackmagic Design Mini Converter HDMI to SDI will support that signal and change it to SDI for your PAL switcher. If you have NTSC in your computer, you will need a signal converter. Please see attached.

[4.3 in] I ordered these Thor Fiber units as a suggestion from a pal; boy am I glad I took his advice. These little babies are awesome! and for the price they can't be beat. On top of that they had awesome tech support and helped get my issue resolved pertaining to frame rate as soon as I called. I'll be using these for now versus spending a small fortune on Telecast every time I need a quick fix. 5

[4.3 in] Just note that this are single channels per box. So you essentially used the SDI output as an additional out which is nice and saves us a DA. Took a chance on an unknown player and happy to say they worked. These are the same guys that own lilliput (shared a booth at NAB at least) 5

[Black] These worked great for me. Would totally recommend. Had a small issue with resolution at first try but after a quick call with their tech team i was made aware that 1080p resolution had max distance of 50ft with cat6. 150ft is with 720p or less. All in all, great product. I'll definitely use in future jobs. 5
