The Matthews Dolly Rental Kit Silver - Matthews Duttifrom Matthews Dolly Rental Kit Silver - Matthews Duttiis used to support 0.75 to 2.25" diameter round or square track sections. It can be mounted on stands that have a baby or junior pin using an included receiver, or used on flat surfaces. The stand is designed specifically for use with the Dutti Dolly, with the track slots having a center-to-center distance of 16".

Note: A minimum of two Dutti Dolly Universal Stand Brackets are required—one at each end of the track.

A: Yes the dolly fits right inside the u channel work all Matthews dollies and almost everyone else.

Q: 2. Can this be used with an Sachtler Aktiv8 75mm fluid head in the under slung configuration?

A: We have not had the ability to test this set up ourselves therefore we are hesitant to recommend the Aktiv8 in an underslung position. The quick release mechanism that enables the Aktiv8 head to quickly mount/dismount has not been tested or rated for inverted scenarios. We recommend using a conventional 75mm head ( such as the FSB8) if you plan to use it in an inverted position.

Q: 3. Does this item(#395400) actually come with the Mitchell Riser? When I see it listed on other sites.. it does not

A: The Matthews Dutti Dolly with Mitchell Riser (Aluminum) comes with 1 x Dutti Dolly1 x Low Profile Mitchell Tie Down.

Q: 4. What is the height of the platform?

A: According to Matthews, from the ground to underneath it is 3 . To the top of the platform it is 4.5 .

Q: 5. Is there any recommended distance between the universal stand brackets when mounted on slider stands ?

A: There is no official recommended distance, but do not allow the tracks to bow at all. Depending on the length of the run, having a stand on each of the track is fine. Matthews products are very strong.

Q: 6. can you use curved tracks on dutti dolly?

A: The Dutti dolly run on straight track only

Q: 7. What are the best track dolly for this product? Can this product use BH #PRPTRK12 or B&H # GLSYL101 ??

A: Matthews states that you can use the Matthews Dutti Dolly (Black, 20 x 24") with speed rail or commercial tubing that can be round, square, angled or PVC pipe, though 1.25" square tubing is the recommended choice by Matthews.

Q: 8. Can I use Duty Dolly with Kessler Crane K-Flex Dolly Track?

A: The Dutti Dolly wheels will track on the Kessler K-Flex system.

[2.9 lb] I bought this dolly about 18 months ago and have used it constantly since its addition to my production company. It works on every surface with consistent results. With a good operator, you can get world class shots with this piece of equipment. I own a Steadicam Flyer and IndieDolly and will use this every time over those products. I really don't know what else to say except that you will get every penny back that you invest into this dolly. 5

[2.9 lb] Very well built dolly. Solid components and very easy to use. The only downside is the weight...it is rather heavy, but manageable with two people to short distances. Worthwhile for any production company that needs grip for larger cameras. Considering that this dolly will last many years due to its build quality, the price is very attractive. 5
