A: I have no idea. I believe the canon site says 300 pages. I purchased 2 such cartridges and they lasted so long that I still have the second one in my MX 532 which is a Canon Pixma printer. It has its shortcomings, but the way that it uses ink is the reason that I keep because I do an excessive ampunt of printing. Call me old-fashioned or just call me cheap, I do not like to store research on my computer so i print reams of paper and file it. It is great that my printer uses so little ink because I just purchased refills and the price of this ink has skyrocketed.I will not use refills because when I took the A+ computer repair course that was one thing that stuck!
