Rest your sax safely with the Hercules Alto Tenor Saxophone Stand | Compact & Durablefrom HERCULES Stands. Featuring an adjustable backrest, the stand can be positioned to secure your alto or tenor sax snugly.

Both the upper yoke and the backrest are covered with specially formulated foam to protect your instrument's finish. Peg holes on the stand's legs give you the option of adding up to two instrument pegs (available separately), for instruments such as trumpets, cornets, and soprano saxophones. This feature maximizes your floor space and reduces the number of stands you need to transport. When it's time to pack up, simply press the locking pins and fold down the upper yoke; this will reduce the stand to a compact bundle that fits inside the included carrying bag.

A: The outside diameter of the bottom riser (the largest) is 1 (one) inch.

[2.645 lb] I got fed up with cheap wobbly stands so bought this instead. Love it. It's very stable, and guitar is not going to fall over even if a toddler or a dog hits it. The auto locking mechanism is cool, adding to the safety aspect. Jackson Soloist guitar's tuner pushes down on the foam of the locking mechanism a bit and creates an indent on the foam. Not sure what the long term implication of that will be, but so far so good. 5

[2.645 lb] I have been a professional saxophonist for nearly 35 years, and I have not found a better stand to hold my baby. The K&M has ended my search for a stand that is both portable and sturdy. It fits nicely into the bell of the instrument with the included storage bag, and is just as stable and safe as some of the more bulky professional stands. I've had other portable in-the-bell stands and have experienced tip-overs (which can be VERY costly to a saxophonist). This stand does it all!... I have ended my search. The cost is higher than some other portable stands out there, but the cost savings in repairs more than makes up for it. (Very reasonably priced when put in those terms). Check out this stand - You will not be disappointed! 5

[22 lb (10 kg)] this is a great stand, the way it locks so you can keep it up, and to be able to store it in the bell is just a great thing. i bought it because i play in church and i wanted a stand that i would be able to carry it in the case. i can say this was worth it. 5

[2.645 lb] Super sturdy, industrially cool, will last forever. Fits my Low A bari just fine, but is adjustable if you need it a little shorter for Bb. The alto/tenor attachment works well, just like the separate alto/tenor stand, which I also have (with a soprano peg). I love that I now need only two stands for four saxophones! Only suggestion - my alto/tenor stand came with an attractive yellow bag to store the case when not in use. Would have been nice to have a similar bag for this bari stand; instead I only have the box it came in. 5
