Protect your Sony a6500 or a6300 camera and add accessories with this LockCircle 6500NY Camera Cage Bundle for Sony a6300/a6500from LockCircle. The modular, formfitting cage is made from durable aluminum and made up of separate pieces that are connected using titanium screws.

The cage is designed to keep the right-hand grip, ports, and controls open, and it also allows you to use the original camera flash unobstructed. The baseplate features a receiver for attaching an optional Meta-Block mount for Metabones or an IMS-Block for IMS mounts. All around the cage are numerous 1/4"-20 and 3/8"-16 threads for attaching a variety of accessories.

The camera is secured in the cage using a titanium 1/4"-20 screw. The cage allows you to utilize numerous optional components such as a top handle, MicroPort micro-HDMI/USB connectors, and various LockPort accessories.

That plate comes with a 12V cable to go from the plate to the cage, as well as an assortment of other cables for powering a wide array of accessories, and mounts to the 15mm rods of the cage.

Q: 8. How do I attach it to my tripod?

A: Hello,There are three 1/4-20 mounting holes in the bottom of the base that can be used for mounting to a tripod. Alternately, you could mount a 15mm dovetail plate to your tripod, and slide the cage onto that. I recommend the TT-C16 or TT-C16-A7 for the dovetail plate, as this cage requires that the plate have raised edges to accommodate the tripod-mounting section of the base.

[0.5 lb] This was something I should have gotten with the camera, but got it a year later. For the price it is good added protection for the screen which I have scratched on prior cameras. Even though I do carry my camera in a bag, I have other accessories like an ExpoDisc which could bounce into it; so I wanted the screen to be protected.� The instructions were good and the screen protector went on really easy. They even provided a dust cleaner too which was nice. No bubbles and more important is that it did not change the look of the colors on screen. 5
