[Bike] I love all the stuff they make. And they make a lot. They make stuff for consumers and for film professionals and for police and pilots. It is all solid and strong and simple and interchangeable. This cell phone mount is nice because not only is it strong, the suction cup is strong and also easy to dismount if you want to switch cars. Also the Clamping X thing is really strong but can hold everything from a iPhone 4 to the biggest Galaxy. Easy in - easy out. I found the Short Arm a little short so I would recommend a longer version. I bought the 5 later for $ more but am using the short one to hold a monitor on my camera. Excellent stuff.

[0.8 lb] I've used other cheap phone mounts before and they wobble around and eventually break, this one doesn't wobble and I'm confident that it won't break for a very long time. The plastic they use seems to be very strong and thick.

[0.8 lb] I have used various articulating arms to attach audio & video recorders to my cage - very few work well with heavy items (a Zoom H6 for example or a 7 Atomos video recorder) - the RAM mounts product is the ONLY thing I have found that bears the weight and does not move - They are solid and dependable - I now use only these as my exclusive option for mounting peripherals. These are the best and I can not recommend them highly enough!!!

[Mounting kit] Like all Ram Mount components I've used, it is light but holds securely. If you plan to use this in an application where you adjust the positioning regularly I would recommend using this with Ram tough-ball/tough-claw components as these seem to move much more smoothly in the sockets than the ordinary Ram balls.

[Cellular phone] Bought this after conferring with my son, the tech guy. Fantastic mount, holds tightly to my dashboard, easy to adjust, and holds my large phone amazingly well. It has a nice, solid feel rather than other flimsy mounts. But I was worried the heft and weight would be a hindrance. I shouldn't have worried, this phone mount is fantastic!

No flimsy shaky construction here. It mounts on the windshield utilizing a suction cup.

[Cellular phone] Tough to find a RAM mount for my Garmin GPSMAP 66. Just mounted it on my motorcycle and seems to work great. Some assembly required, but it is nice that lock nuts are included and should give years of secure service.

[Cellular phone] I needed a short mount due to having a shallow dash. This mount is brilliant! Lots of articulation that is instantly locked by the turn of a knob. Hasn’t fallen off the windscreen (yet).....
