Install the Axis T8613 SFP Module | Compact Network Solutionfrom Axis T8613 SFP Module | Compact Network Solutioninto an Axis switch or router to enable an additional network connection. This SFP module provides network redundancy through its link-loss feature, which allows the system to recognize a lost connection between a specific device and host. If available, this allows the downed device to redirect the transmission through a fallback connection. Able to reach speeds up to 1.25 Gbps, this module is compatible with 4-pair Cat5 UTP cables and can transmit signals up to 330'. It is able to operate in extreme temperatures from -40 to 185°F, making it suitable for use in most environments.

Related Questions and Answers

Q: 1. Hello Can Axis Communications C1410 Network Mini Speaker be used outdoors?

A: The Axis Communications C1410 Network Mini Speaker (BH #AX01916001) is not outdoor rated..

Q: 2. Is this compatible with the Blackmagic Design ATEM Talkback Converter 4K, Blackmagic Design ATEM Camera Converter and the Blackmagic Design Studio Camera 4K?

A: I have 3 of these in my Talkback Converter 4K and they work well. I was a little upset when I opened the Talkback Converter 4K and found it doesn't come with any of these modules, but that's another story. I'm only using 1080 stuff so it's not a big deal that it only passes 3G signals. As noted before though these won't work if you want to use the full 4K signal from a camera. But over 250 meters of fiber (that I've used) it sends a great 1080 signal both ways.

Q: 3. Will this negotiate at 1, 2.5, 5 and 10Gb/s or just at 1 or 10?

A: The Ubiquiti Networks UACC-CM-RJ45-10G can run at 1/2.5/5/10 GbE.

Q: 4. What type of Fibre-Optic cable does this use? One with LC connectors?

A: Blackmagic Design fiber products use singlemode duplex cable with LC connectors. An example cable would be a href= http://www.bhphotovideo.com/c/product/992948-REG/hybrid_fiber_systems_smd9_lc_lc_030_9u_125u_singlemode_duplex_lc.html target= _blank http://www.bhphotovideo.com/c/product/992948-REG/hybrid_fiber_systems_smd9_lc_lc_030_9u_125u_singlemode_duplex_lc.html/a

Q: 5. What is the difference between UACC-CM-RJ45-MG and UACC-CM-RJ45-10G?

A: UACC-CM-RJ45-MG supports the GbE protocol and has a range of 330', whereas UACC-CM-RJ45-10G does not support GbE and has a range of 328'.

Q: 6. IS THE CABLE FIBER? OR ONLY COPPER?

A: Only copper.. The "DAC" in the product name means that this connector cable is a copper cable - "DAC" stands for Direct-Attach Copper.

Q: 7. Can it be used with multimode fiber for short runs (¿OM3?) ?

A: Short answer is Yes it has worked with multi mode fiber on short runs but it’s unreliable over time so I would recommend getting a multi mode sfp module if that’s the fiber you have to work with

Q: 8. Will this work on the Ubiquity Dream Machine Pro fiber connections?

A: Yes, the Ubiquiti Networks 10 GbE SFP+ to RJ45 Module is compatible with the Ubiquiti Networks UniFi Dream Machine Pro.

Q: 9. Is this compatible with the Blackmagic Design Mini Converter Optical Fiber 12G-SDI?

A: Yes, the Blackmagic Design 12G SFP Optical Module Adapter is compatible with the Blackmagic Design Mini Converter Optical Fiber 12G-SDI.

Q: 10. Does this unit support Level A & Level B SDI?

A: Yes it does.

[4-pair Cat5 UTP] I put it in my USW Enterprise 24 PoE to provide a 10gbe port for a NAS. It runs at that speed and while it gets warm, it’s not what I’d call hot. Supposedly it’s cooler running than some other SFP+ 10gbe modules.

[4-pair Cat5 UTP] I am able to get my 1080/60i video about 15 miles. It can't push a full 1080/60p that far, but interlaced is fine for my needs and 15 miles is a big ask. In the end affordable, and does what it promises.

[1.25 Gbps] Amazing product!! There are so many features. Currently using this with my DW Spectrum VMS.

Also have it setup with home assistant and using pir sensor with automations.

Using it with my freepbx as well. I am using DTMF and using MQTT to unlock an electric strike.

Possibilities are endless!
