[10 BaseT TCP/IP] I was skeptical that this was actually going to work, but it said it passed 3-G SDI signal in an 8x8 format matrix. AND IT WORKS GREAT! Easy to install, operate and best of all- delivers! And at a fraction of the cost of several other SDI matrix brands. I have my iMac, Security Camera Feeds, and Black Magic SSD Recorder hooked up to this (HDMI to SDI converter) all going to 7 Televisions and 1 Projector (SDI to HDMI converted) all giving off a great HD picture. I recommend it.

[2 RU] This is awesome. Passes all signals from SDI inputs to SDI outputs. Easy to navigate. I've bought three of these already and we are now adding them to estimates for clients. Cost thousands less competitors. If you need 12x12 or 20x20 go with Black Magic Design, if you only need 8x8, use this one instead!

[MS3112E8-2P] We needed to produce a last minute Facebook livestream. Trusting Blackmagic brand from previous experience, we ordered both the ATEM Mini Pro and this 5 Video Assist. Short learning curve, easy setup, and the show went off without a hitch. Both recommend and endorse.

[32] Great monitor and recorder with big possibilities. HDMI and SDI inputs/ outputs, big variety of recording formats, very good monitor, too. Very good option for the price.

[SDI Video: BNC] Excellent features for the price. I never know how much difference a field monitor would make in our production quality. This unit has false color which aids focussing; wave form and histogram views to aid the lighting set-up up front so less effort is needed in post. Unit comes with a sun shield for outdoor use and has a variety of mounting options. It can be mounted on top of a DSLR with the hot shoe mount or on a stand or tripod. Multiple inputs formats can be used although I only use the HDMI input. I use a separate HDMI selector switch to enable multiple cameras to use the same monitor which facilitates camera matching.

[10 BaseT TCP/IP] Works great connecting it up to bmpcc. Picture is perfect and focusing is pretty easy with full hd display despite focus assist being mia. Shows audio levels and live histogram like bmpcc. Obviously not a whole lot of features in it now but bm has been pretty solid with that before so here's hoping.

[8 lb (3.6 kg)] This monitor is feature packed for the price. We are using it for an on set production monitor which works very well. It has everything you would want including audio monitoring at the monitor. Focus peaking is very nice and the wave form is handy too. We use the NP-F970 batteries and we yet have to change batteries during a shoot. I was also very pleasantly surprised when the monitor arrived in a very nice metal case. The only negative is the menu navigation is a bit clunky but is alright once you get used to it. Bottom line... You'll have to pay more than twice the money for a monitor with the same features and quality. Highly recommended for low budget and student film programs.

And I love that it has a little blue light to let you know it is receiving power and is on. That is good information to have, especially when on location.
